The chances of you finding an English bulldog puppy at a shelter are extrremely low. This is largely because of the organization B.C.A.R.N (Bulldog Club of America Rescue Network) which rescues bulldogs and bulldog puppies from shelters and puts them into foster homes until a suitable home is found. Another reason why finding an English bulldog puppy in a shelter is rare is because bulldogs are very expensive. So for example if someone were to buy a $2,000 bulldog puppy, and had to get rid of it because they're allergic, usually aren't willing to give the dog to an animal shelter when they could, instead, sell him/her and get some of their money back.

Bulldogs, despite their ferocious appearance, are virtually known to be very loyal and very friendly dogs generally. They are certainly not 'dogs of incident', although if ever one is forced into confrontation, it is very hard to release the grip of their jaws due to their 'placement'.

However, in general, dogs are not dangerous with proper training. Smaller breeds tend to bait more than the larger breeds. But no matter the breed, a dog is dangerous according to the owner.

Another health concern is cherry eye, trachea and windpipe deformities, hip dysplasia, wrinkle infections, and eye problems. The health issues listed above don't even scratch the surface as to all the health problems that can occur, and commonly do, in bulldogs however those are the ones that most often affect bulldogs.

i do not quite understand what this question means, but what i understand is you are asking how LONG bulldogs live. bulldogs can live 8 to 12 years.... all depending on how well it is cared for. bulldogs can be prone to many serious diseases. it all depends on how well the dog is treated, but they're prone to just about everything you can think of. Eye problems (like cherry eye, entropion), heart defects, breathing difficulties, problems with hips, elbows, and knees, allergies, skin conditions, hyperuricosuria (a genetic defect that causes bladder stones), tracheal hypoplasia, epilepsy, alopecia (hair loss), recurring ear infections, deafness, lymphosarcoma, hemangiosarcoma, mammary cancer, hemivertebrae, spina bifida, urethral prolapse, lymphedema, head tremors, hypothyroidism, and bloat are just some of the MANY conditions that are found in the breed. but as i said, it all depends on how well it is cared for and the breeding and genetics of the dog. hope this is the answer you were looking for!

It was a white granular mineral fertilizer, high in nitrogen, with no other plant nutrients. It was applied like any other dry fertilizer, and like most of them it would harden into clumps if exposed too long to high humidity. She should have reached maturity. Many say two years but you know better than anyone. But if I had to give an age I would say at least 18months. The American bull is a large breed dog and is more equipped to handle birth

Yes, they can breed, though it's very uncommon, and it may not succeed.

Personally I would say yes because I have an American Bulldog/Boston Terrier and he loves to play in kiddy pools and sprinklers. I wouldn't know if yours does though. If you would like to train him to like water, start with spraying him with a hose. Then, let him paddle his/her feet in a pool. Last, let him/her start swimming in shallow water. I hope this helps!

yes there are miniature & toy Australian Cattle dogs aka Queensland Heelers. miniatures are generally 13 to 16 in tall & weigh 15 to 25 pounds. toys are less than 13in tall & weigh less than 16 pounds.

It depends on the dog. My three English bulldogs love being rubbed in different places. One loves being rubbed on the neck. Another loves being rubbed on the belly. The other loves being on the back.

Yes. But they do need special attn. Depending on your bullies breathing abilities. My male stays indoors but snorts alot and has short snout. My female is outdoors and has longer snout. I just make sure she has plenty water and shading for hot weather.
