Calling and Area Codes

Country code +870 (dialed as 00 870 from many places) is used for Inmarsat satellite phones, including ship-to-shore.

Note: charges for calling +870 are substantially higher than most international calls.

(Inmarsat previously used +871, +872, +873, and +874 for satellite phones in specific parts of the world, but those codes have been retired in favor of the single code +870.)

From a New Zealand landline, dial 00 61 4 etc.

To avoid confusion, it is best to write an international telephone number in correct international format, beginning with the plus symbol and the correct telephone country code (e.g., +506 for Costa Rica), omitting any dialing prefix.

In the UK, 0115 is the area code for Nottingham.If the entire number is like 0115 0xx xxxx with that exact number of digits, then this is a National Dialling Only number. This number can only be dialled if the area code is always included - even when calling from another Nottingham number.

The abbreviation Fe stands for Ferrous material ie ironfrom which the reinforcement steel bars are manufactured.

The reinforcement steel bars used in RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) are designated as Fe415 or Fe500 depending on their Yield Strength. (The numbers 415 and 500 tell about this Yield Strength in N/mm2 the bars are designed and manufactured to have.)

Fe415 indicates that the Yield Strength (tensile strength) of steel is 415 N/mm2.
