Is Bette fish saliva poisonous?
betta are not harmful to people and most tropical fish. However, there are some very common fish that are poisonous. Most of the common plecos with spines can be toxic to tropical fish if they are dumb enough to peck at it. If you feel that another fish you own will get sick from being around your betta, odds are the two can live together happily and healthily. If another pet, like a cat or dog swallowed your betta, I wouldn't worry. I have never heard of pet poisoning from eating tropicals.

If you want to get rid of your fish where can you take them?
Most pet/aquarium shops I know will take unwanted fish provided they are in good condition. The better shops will usually give you a credit or cash in exchange for good fish. There are only 2 proposed humane ways of killing fish that I know of. One is to place the fish in a suitable container and place the container in a freezer. After freezing the fish can be disposed of (Garbage). The other is to slam/throw the fish down very hard onto a hard surface/floor. Then wrap and dispose of in the normal way. (Garbage) Do NOT under any circumstances release the fish into the environment or put them live into the toilet.
Special pelletised foods for Axolotls are available in good pet/aquarium shops. They do however appreciate live foods such as crickets, meal worms etc. now and then. They will also take trimmed lean raw meat cut into small enough sizes. Never leave uneaten meat in the tank with any living fish or axolotles etc. (I remove uneaten food after 15mins) It will poison the water very rapidly and kill the occupants if left in the water.
Whats wrong with your fish if it wont swim or float but its not dead?
Perhaps its in a sort of shock? If the fish in question is a new pet fish, I mean.
Normally when you buy a new fish, it comes in a plastic baggie. You're supposed to place the sealed baggy (with fish/water still inside) into its new fish tank. This makes the water in the baggy slowly change to the temperature of the water in the fish tank, and prevents the fish from undergoing the "shock" that accompanies dumping it into a different temperature environment.

The word fish is applied indiscriminately to entirely separate classes of animal- cartilaginous one (Sharks/Rays); bony ones (Piranhas/Eels/Cod); and ones with skulls but no backbone or jaw (Hagfish and Lampreys). These classes split off from one another far longer ago than the different orders, families and genuses did from each other, meaning a salmon for example has more in common with (and is more closely related to) a human than a hagfish.
Fish is a convenient umbrella term to describe an aquatic vertebrate that is not a mammal or a turtle. It's equivalent to calling bats birds because they happen to fly.

A gemstone or gem, also called a precious or semi-precious stone, is a piece of attractive mineral, which - when cut and polished - is used to make jewelry or other adornments. However certain rocks, (such as lapis-lazuli) and organic materials (such as amber or jet) are not minerals, but are still used for jewelry, and are therefore often considered to be gemstones as well. Most gemstones are hard, but some soft minerals are used in jewelry because of their lustre or other physical properties that have aesthetic value. Rarity is another characteristic that lends value to a gemstone.
Gemstones are classified into different groups, species, and varieties. For example, ruby is the red variety of the species corundum, while any other color of corundum is considered sapphire. Emerald (green), aquamarine (blue), bixbite (red), goshenite (colorless), heliodor (yellow), and morganite (pink) are all varieties of the mineral species beryl.
