Can mice walk on harnesses?

well, i put my mouse in a homemade harness - i put her down on the side and folded a piece of string in half - and put the middle under her belly - did this again but around the chest area - then thread the 4 bits of string through a CM piece of cut drinking straw then pull the straw down to its back - and it ill walk on it but don't drag it - let it walk - because if you drag them you can break bones- just experiment i did and that's the best result - -Meg x

Does having a baby as a teen alter a mother's life?

having a baby alters anyone's life, but being a teen is even harder. they haven't had the chance to "grow up" yet, they're still experiencing their "fun years". Sometimes, they are resentful of the baby later because all their friends are out having fun and they're tied to a baby.
Answer I am a single mother of two boys in Australia. I had my first son when I was sixteen. When I was pregnant things were generally the same until I brought my son home. Then it could take an hour to get ready, I had no money left from my government assistance to do the things that my friends were, my friends all left and lastly I had a little person relying on me for everything. Having a baby does alter you life. You have to be responsible, and grow up quckly. It is a lot harder then being a single unattached teen but I wouldn't change it.

Is it possible to have a skitzofrenic mouse or could it have ADD?

There is evidence that mice and other rodents can show symptoms similar to the anxiety-related mental health disorders you have listed in humans. However, this is uncommon in normal pet mice; the more likely explanation is that either the mouse is acting normal for itself (it may just be a very active mouse) or the mouse may have a disease such as an infection or a tumor.

They're not actually hairless, as they have a fine dusting of hair along the entire length.

My mice have had there 2nd litter of mice just 1 or 2 days ago and we don't want them to have more can i just separate them or should i wait how long or what should i do?

Mice will keep breeding if they have the chance so move the males into another cage. The pinkys (baby mice) don't need their father and will do fine with just their mother. If you have two males in a cage with a female they will fight and if there are pinkys in the cage as well they will most likely die in a fight between the males or be neglected because the female is mating and having a lot more pinkys.

you should not separate the babies until they are old enough about 3 weeks old. They will not mate with each other until they are old enough. Seperate the babies when they are old enough and you should have no problems. They are definatly old enough when they are seen eating solid food. DO NOT separate when they are still nursing from their mother, when they don't have fur, or if they don't have their eyes open. This would be way too young. Why trust me? I am a mouse breeder of 1 year and a half now and i am almost an expertThe adult males and females should defintiely be separated immediately! A female mouse can go into heat and get pregnant literally minutes after the birth of her babies! If it's been two days already, there's a chance she's alraady pregnant again.

What should you do if a runt mouse lives but is developing slowly?

== As soon as your mouse is beginning to eat solid food, start to provide it with extra nutritious foods in addition to regular mouse food. Try a little bit of scrambled egg, tiny scraps of chicken, oily fish, porridge, and if you can afford to buy some, try substitute animal's milk, the kind used to feed orphaned baby animals. It's full of nutrition! Make sure the little thing is not being bullied by it's stronger siblings too!

When rats and mice fight does the mouse win?

You'd be stupid to let them anywhere near each other, but the mouse would likely be the one to die. I've heard lots of stories of rats killing mice. The rat could get injured by the mouse too though.
