Most green beans grown commercially and in gardens are annuals. A few, such as the Scarlet Runner are perennials but are almost always grown as annuals, that is, they are replanted from seed each year.

They live for about 1 month out of water and not refrigerated.
The skin of carrots were originally yellow. They were bred to have orange skin. I think its due to a lack of moisture. The older a carrot is the drier it seems to be.
Adding butter, brown sugar and a dash of cinnamon to your carrots makes a very good candied carrot dish. You can make candied carrots by adding a little butter and brown sugar to them.
Carrots contain the following:
I usually allow 4 ozs per person. This would be 37.5 pounds for 150 people
The government was actually trying to encourage people to grow their own vegetables.
Yes. The part of the carrot plant most people refer to as a "carrot" is actually the root, which is edible. The top of the carrot, referred to as carrot greens, are also edible.
Yes. Carrots are in the category known as root vegetables. they are called taproots. "dont ask me why"
One day I went out to eat and my carrots looked black. It didn't look like mold, but i wasn't sure so I didn't eat them. Later, at home a took a carrot and placed it over a match it formed a black ring just like the one in the restaurant. So, if you ever have a carrot with a black ring in it is from a fire or it is sometimes mold.
The question doesn't make sense. A carrot is a vegetable, which could be in an omnivores diet. An omnivore is an animal whose diet consists of both meat and vegetation.
It is a Tuber. these plants grow large roots where all the nutrients and water are stored for their reemergence in the spring when no feeding takes place.
The root is so big because while the seed is growing the roots are gitting bigger anabigger.
We are surely eating root.
Thank you for your question...
.. although - There are only two ingredients in your question. Carrots and water - and you only boil the water - then, add the carrots to this boiling water.
Lastly, this technique can be used in any further boiling questions (like boiled eggs and even tea) you may be poised to post.
Happy boiling.
No! Never give your horse a diet that only feeds carrots. This can cause colic, a condition that can be fatal to horses. If you feed your horse a hard feed (such as pony pellets, chaff, economix, etc...), try and cut down on the amount you feed him/her slowly. Immediate changes in diet can 'stun' the stomach and also cause colic. Example: You are feeding your horse three scoops chaff and two scoops pellets. The next day you will feed two and a half scoops of chaff and one and a half scoops of pellets.
You will decrease the amount of feed you give your horse but you must also take into consideration how much your pony/horse is working. I would suggest speaking to your local vet or horse riding instructor (or even your local saddlery staff!) about the changes in your horses diet.
Your refrigerator thermostat is set too low. Put a thermometer in your refrigerator and check that the thermostat is working. If you have a dial type, set it in the middle...either 3 or 5 depending on the calebration of your model. The temperature in your crisper should be about 45-50 degrees. That's the reason it's at the lowest point in your refrigerator. Another reason might be that you don't have enough stuff in the fridge. It is a fact that the unit will work more efficiently if it has more in it. Use water as a space filler.
