The question, if correctly understood, should be "What caste do Shil (surname) belong to among the Bengali Hindus?"

The talukdars were considered part of the Zamindari system, which involved the collection of taxes and administration of land within a specific region. They are the native people of Dera Ismail Khan which is know in Pakistan. After 1930's, all the derawalis, especially hindu-punjaabis migrated to Delhi. Now a days you can see people of these castes generally located in Kurukshetra(Haryana),borders touching Punjab, Chandigarh-Punjab, Mukherjee Nagar(New delhi), Derawaal Nagar(New Delhi),Kingsway Camp(New Delhi), Vikaspuri, Tilak nagar, JanakPuri(New Delhi). These areas are largely dominated by Punjabi refugees who came to India before after the partition. The other people of these castes have surname Sardana, Madaan and Miglani. The Chandna's belongs to Kashyap Gotra and are Kshatria/Brahmins. Their way of speaking Punjaabi is entirely different from the people living in Punjab or Delhi. Their spoken punjabi has a tribal touch which is rarely understood by the people in Northern India. You can say this language shares close relationship with Multani Language as well.
