Why do you ask? Do you want to poison a cat?

Soap probably won't though. But don't poison a cat if that's what you're doing.

Oh no, I'm definitely not poisoning a cat. It's just that I sometimes find my cat eating hand soap and I stop her, but I just wanted to make sure it isn't poisonous.

Oh, okay. Just that maybe your cat will get a little sick.

Scratching is partly a territorial behavior. Cats have scent glands on their paws, so, when they scratch something, they are marking it as their own in two ways: first, by physically damaging it, and second, by applying their scent to it.

Scratching is also a grooming behavior. It helps remove the outer layer of dead tissue on their claws.

It is also a way for them to stretch, as well as a form of exercise that strengthens and tones their upper body.

The simple answer to this is, it is more a case of your bunny training you!

Bunnies are naturally very clean animals. They like to always use the same 'latrine' area. This works greatly to our advantage when training them. Simply put newspaper down and see where they like to go. Once they have picked a corner put down the litter tray! Encourage them to use it by putting some hay in there along with the wood shavings/paper pulp litter. Bunnies like to nibble while they pee.

If the litter tray is not where You want it to be... you will gradually need to move it to a more suitable place. Let the bunny get used to it first, after a couple of weeks you can start the moving process. Always move it when the bunny has used it though, so they can smell that this is the same litter tray!

~also it helps to try "baiting" the litter box... take some poo from where it goes and move it into the litter box this will act as the "bait" then make sure to clean the old area well before you expect them to use the litter box... this worked wonders for me when i trained my rabbit remember rabbits are twice as easy to train as a cat~

To remove mats from fur, you can use your bathtub or wherever you have a hose. Soak in water. Scrub Johnson's baby shampoo on matted area. Rinse fur. Then put Johnson's baby conditioner on matted area. Comb fur. Rinse, comb again, and dry. If this doesn't work, take your dog to your local vet or groomer.

As much as they are able to eat. At 4 to 6 weeks old, kittens are generally still suckling from their mother, or, if their mother isn't around, being fed from a bottle. Young kittens are usually fed every couple of hours.

Depends really on what type of cat it is.

Smaller, lighter cats will naturally eat less, whereas a bigger or bulky cat will eat more. That said, a cat will eat far more if fed a lower quality food to get the nutrition it needs, and less if fed a premium quality food.

The best way to find out how much you should feed your own cat is to keep an eye on his or her weight. You can do this by weighing him once a week to see if he gains or loses weight, or feeling for any extra layers of fat over his ribs. Be sure to consult a veterinarian first in order to find out the cat's weight and health.

It usually means your cat is sick or hurt. If it is under a bed or in some place where you can't touch him/her that is an even bigger sign. If I were you I would take them to the vet as soon as possible. Trust me.

Cheapest way - if a vacuum cleaner wont shift them is - sticky tape ! Buy a roll of broad adhesive tape. wrap some round your hand a couple of times, with the adhesive outwards. then you simply slide your hand over the fabric. The tape will pick up the hairs.

A vet can give you drops for in the eyes, but gentle cleansing with luke warm water only. If it does not improve, you will need to visit a vet because the infection can spread to the respiratory system (lungs) and cause pneumonia and the possibility of death.

A cat's jaw can only move up and down, and their sharp premolars and molars are serrated and act like scissors; they cut up meat into bite-size chunks in order for the cat to swallow. A cat's teeth and jaw are not designed to grind up food into a pulp like a human can.

You need to regulate the food your cat is eating. Also, enticing your cat to play and exercise several times a day will help. Be sure to look at the ingredients - The best cat foods are the ones with a very high named meat content (labeled as Chicken, Turkey, Rabbit, Lamb, Tuna, etc.) as the first, or first three, ingredients.

This conversion can take several months for cats to get used to, and several more months on top of that to get your cat at a ideal weight. Cats need to lose weight SLOWLY, as losing weight too quickly can lead to many health problems. You might want to invest in a digital scale for this so you can check up on his/her weight once a week so you can check the progress.

4 weeks is the absolute MINIMUM you can ween a cat. This is only suggested if mother is sick, her milk has dried up, or if the kitten is being pushed out. Any time before then, a cat will need to be bottle/tube fed. Typically, the best time to ween a cat is about 8 weeks. If you do it too early or too late and the cat could develop a fixation on nursing. This could cause it to nurse on other animals, like dogs, or on blankets or fingers. It's a BAD thing. It's cute, but there's a lot of drool and it gets old very fast.

No! You want to use cat shampoo to give them a silkier coat. If none is available, use dish soap, hand soap may contain harmful chemicals.

if it is limp and not moving or blinking it has had a snake bite get it to the vet quick its lungs will go in about 30 mins because its blinking musles are one of the last ones to go (my cat Miffens got bitten buy a brown snake)

You can take it to a animal shelter, keep it if you want to, take it to a vet to see if it has one of those microchip things in their fur. PLEASE don't take it to a kennel, I read a memo online from a guy who works for kennels and he said it was horrible!

You'd be lucky to find a purebred Burmese kitten for sale under $300 -- a lower price than that is an instant red flag. You can check the classifieds in your local newspaper every week under cats, but it's best to look in a magazine like Cat Fancy for a listing of breeders. No matter where you find the add, always make sure you can visit the cattery and talk to the breeders, ask lots of questions, and examine the cats personally. Make a point of meeting the dame, and the sire if you can, since their temperaments are good indicators of how the kittens will grow up to be.
