Depends upon so many factors, where to begin?

(1) Model of the 350 engine (lots of difference between an LT-1, LS1, LS6, etc and an L98)

(2) Year of 350 engine

(3) Application (what vehicle)

(4) Power to weight ratio of vehicle

(5) Transmission and Gear Ratio

(6) Condition of the engine.

They used to be made of fiberglass, but now are a composite material, with a lot of carbon fiber, depending on which model you get. And, they are made in Bowling Green, Kentucy.

Code 12 is a diagnostic code. It sounds like there is a short between pins A and B on the ALDL connector, covered by a small, rectangular black cover, probably just above the driver's right knee. Shorting those pins puts the ECM in that mode.

The filter is in the carburetor inlet. there is no external filter on this car. It uses a small sintered bronze filter behind the carb inlet fitting.

you can access the inner lights by taking off the license plate and back up lights, if you can't reach the outer ones,remove the inner lights by removing two 10 mm bolts (i think they are at about 11 &5 o'clock) then reach in through the hole. It can be difficult if your arms are very big, but it can be done......just did it yesterday.

underneath the steering column should be a knob that goes vertically up and down, if its down then the headlights will stay up by shutting the vacuum and if its up then the headlights will go down automatically when the light knob is pushed in.

I saw one yesterday mistakenly threaded into A intake air port access and the threaded plug cap was in the coolant access. They switched them I hope. S.B. Chevys have two general places and I prefer the one under the exhaust manifold so if the coolant is low I still get an accurate reading. the other one of course is on the intake manifold and will vary in size and shape based on weather you have A temp gauge or hot light. 1969 Chevrolet uses A variable ground similar to A rheostat. So... the stronger the ground the higher the temp gauge goes. or A solid ground turns on the hot light. The following is performed with the key in the run position AND THE ENGINE OFF! To prove this is the temp gauge you can simply unplug the temp sender wire from the sensor and ground it anywhere there is A good ground and your gauge will creep up to the high numbers or your hot light will come on. If your oil gauge goes up you are in the wrong place. If your oil light goes out (backwards I know) you are in the wrong place. I hope this helps

It depends on the model (Coupe, Convertible or Z06). Coupe and Convertible have the same times and usually run anywhere from 4.7-4.9. The Z06 has been timed anywhere from 4.2-4.5.
