A Corvette is way better on speed,looks,and turns but a Mustang is better on price. A Corvette will cost about $95,000 But a Mustang will cost around $35,000 to $45,000.

A good rule of thumb is 10 lbs. pressure per thousand rpm. I don't like to see them fall below 15-20 hot, at idle, in gear, but anything above 60 lbs at wide open throttle is a waste of horsepower. Use oil viscosity to fine tune the pressure to desired limits. ie: 0w30 or 5w30 to lower the pressure, 15w40 or 30w to increase pressure. (Based on a standard of 10w30 or 10w40)

It's very LITTLE! (About 14/20 MPG) It doesn't makes sense to have such a car. I have a VW Polo 1.4 Diesel. It does 67 MPG!!! and no electric motor, no hybrid nothing. Buy smaller and more efficient cars. you Americans don't need such huge-ass trucks. Th big companies made you think you need those.

Crossfireinjection.net sells some nice hard piped kits that hook between throttle bodies. Otherwise you have to install a t with a shrader valve on the rubber fuel line, preferrably after the filter. Then hook a gauge 0-15 psi preferrably to the bull end of that T.

It looks to me that you may need to remove the water pump and the air intake system to reach the distributor cap. I'll find out this weekend for sure!!!

The mark is on the harmonic balancer. The pointer should be visible by looking down from the passenger side of the engine compartment. They're usually bolted to the timing cover.

The gas tank can be removed after the spare tire carrier is removed. The gas tank straps need to be loosened next. The fuel hose and sending units wires need to be disconnected. At the front of the gas tank, there is a bolt on cross member holding it up (this is where the front of the straps are bolted). carefully support the gas tank, and remove the cross member. Then the gas tank can be removed.

There are two different T-Top hardwares for the C3 corvettes. Tops from a 68 will not bolt right in to a 82. Im not sure of the cut off date though. its right in the 75 area. the actual glass panels are the same but just look at the hardware. The later models only had one lever to lock them down on the front by the visor. the older ones had 2 levers, one by the visor and one towards the back.

there is a test for the ecm : Take a small 1/4 drive ratchet and tap on the side of your ecm lightly if the car stalls the ecm is bad. Also the air flow meter will cause the same thing to happen. disconnect the airflow meter and start the car if no change then most likely the airflow meter is bad another check to verify that remove it from your vehicle and hold it up to the light there is a small wire inside if it is broken it is bad.

Well -- I found out that the heater blower is located under the hood against the firewall right above the windshield washer fluid container. You will need to remove the panel in front of it, then remove the blower and shroud, and R & R. The blower replacement was fairly inexpensive -- MUCH less at NAPA than at a dealer.

Driver side of the engine would be a good place to start looking.

There are two parts to the radio, the radio head unit which is in the dash and the receiver. The receiver is in the storage well behind the passenger seat. Open the door to the storage well. Remove the plastic storage well - just pull it out. Remove the carpet - just pull it out. The tuner box is right there under the carpet. It is attached to the body with two velcro strips - just pull it off and remove connectors and antenna lead. Hope this helps. -Mike-

Changing the battery luckily is one of the easiest things to do on the Corvette! It also is something you should really try to check often also. if there are cracks on under side, wear of belt,,grooves missing on belt, just normal wear and tear!!

my 87 does the same thing. i found if just a small light on the sensor located just off the lft upper corner of the dash gets light, it lights my dash like a new car. i believe that sensor is MY particular problem.
