Does the custodial parent have the right to quit job for more support?
In general, support is a percentage of the obligor's net income and is not affected by the custodial parent's income. A custodial parent who petitions for an increase in support would presumably have to explain to the court why s/he quit working.
Will the judge accept money orders as proof of child support payment?
Maybe. It depends on all the other evidence, both oral and documentary, that is presented.
Is it possible to close a child support case and terminate any payment that is owed?

In the US, at least, child support is regarded as a right of the child, not the parent. So yes... a child, even an illegitimate one, has a right to the financial support of the parents, and the mother can bring a suit on the behalf of the child.
Can child support be terminated due to lack of visitation?
If the person paying child support goes to court about it, it's possible. However, it doesn't "just happen", nor is it legal for someone to stop paying child support without a new court order specifically stating so (unless the child reaches the age at which the court order says child support can stop; in that case it's not necessary to go back to court about it).
Depends on the reason for the non-payment. Only 3% of child support obligors refuse to pay for no significant reason. The remainder are due to unemployment and indigent status in the poor economy. Currently, the Southern Center for Human Rights is suing the state of Georgia for the jailing of unemployed and unemployable fathers for child support arrears they can not possibly pay.
As for the lost of parent rights, the cost to society for fatherless children is significantly higher than any amount of child support owed and paid. Over 90% of those committing crime were raised without a father, so this issue needs to be addressed lightly as it has significant and far reaching detriments to society in general.

Can you prorate the last month of child support?
Generally no. Further, the payments cannot be automatically stopped without a review of the courts. See related links below.
If your court orders establishing child support has a end date spelled out such as "when the child reaches 18 and is graduated from high school" and this court order also contains language such as "no future orders of the court are required when this date is reach" then yes you can prorate the last month of child support to the last day the child is a minor and in this case graduated from high school. Also if your child support is being garnished by a child support office of a county then you will have to show that the conditions of the court order stopping child support on a specific date have happened and they will prorate your last garnishment for you.

The child support obligation continues past 18 years of age, as long as the child is unmarried, is a full-time high school student and is not self-supporting. In this case, the child support obligation will end when the child reaches 19 years of age or graduates high school, whichever of these occurs first.
You must check with your lawyer and local laws but generally when a child turns of age of majority child support payments stop and if they are not age of majority and not attending school it can be stopped as well. You should really check into this as it sounds as though you may be getting taken for a ride. If the money is to go to schooling anyway and you want to pay - pay for things directly instead of actually giving it to them as it likely is not going where needed. This is very common.

No. The custodial parent or state child support agency would need to file suit, obtain a judgment and then use the judgment to levy the obligated parent's bank account, or the account holder would need to voluntarily allow withdrawal of funds. A judgment is not necessary for an obligated parent's tax refund (state or federal) to be seized for back child support.
