Can i terminate child support if the case hasn't started?

I see several answers that are not exactly true. Those answers say, there is no statutory limitation on collection of child support. If the accrual of child support ensued before the enactment of the Bradley Amendment, then there was a statute of limitations. the Bradley Amendment wiped out state's statute of limitations and pays cse agencies to collect child support. the more they collect, the more they receive from the federal government. The CSE agencies are generally corrupt and not impartial; their power should be challenged because of their bias. So, in a case that I am working on, some 50 years after a divorce, CSE filed a lien in an amount of $105k+, which was totally bogus, but if one submits themselves to their jurisdiction, the courts rubber stamp whatever they do. However, the Bradley Amendment runs afoul of the constitution when it tries to wipe out a statute of limitation that has already ran. Today, there is no limitation due to the Bradley Amendment, but in erstwhile years, the statute may bar collection of some, or all of past due child support, depending on the year of the divorce.

Would Minnesota have you extradited from Iowa for a misdemeanor child support warrant?

Probably not.

However, all U.S. states honor child support orders and any accompanying charges. Therefore, the non compliant parent will be denied a driver's license or state ID nor will they be allowed to register a vehicle. The non custodial parent might also have their wages garnished and/or property seized and sold and/or encumbered by liens. In addition, all non custodial parents who are in arrears for support can have their IRS and/or state tax refund seized. Any or several of the aforementioned are possible and a judgment order is not needed.

You are on disability the children are over 19 you went 6 months with no income can your ex wife collect for that 6 months?

If the issue is child support that would depend on the terms that are in the child support order. If the order stipulates an age over the state's age of majority then it is likely arrearages can be recovered, as disability benefits are subject to garnishment for child support obligations. Relating to child support she would need to file suit or request assistance from the state's department of child support enforcement. If it is for spousal maintenance (alimony) it is unlikely she could recover any arrearages.
