China's One-Child Policy

it has changed china by a lot because if they didnt introduce the one child policy china would have been in poverty

less people, less transportation

it still hasn't been stopped

there still holding that rule considering china holds over 20% of the world population

China can only have one child because in the cultural revolution they were pooing everywhere and the babies all the time...the government limited all arents to one child so that not as many poos occurred

This has had its plus as well as minus points. The minus points were , the result would take years to find the difference. Now all want one boy family so these boys in another 25 years will not find a life partner as there want be enough girls for them.

china has realized that if they want to live like humans they need to reduce their population for that the government has taken and implemented many steps ,for instance if a married couple remains without a child or only 1 child the couple is give cash reward by the government .this best proves that how badly china wants to reduce its population

The affects are quite bad as the female will either have to have an abortion or even to have to put up with a girl or boy. In past years their have been riots and one year a women hired a man to kill her 9 year old so you could say the affects are quite bad

Positive aspects.

· Families who only have one child get a 'one child glory certificate' which entitles them to an annual bonus on their salary up until the child is 14.

· Its good for population management

· Its decreased the population by over a half

· Families who stick to the policy will get HUGE bonuses.

Negative aspects.

· There is more men to women in china, therefore, that means less wives, less children(not a positive) because people are killing their daughters

· There are boys being kidnapped off the streets.

· A lot of girls are getting put up for adoption· If you are an only child, you are allowed to have two children (unfair and not helping the population much) because that's the same as the parent having two children in the first place and one giving birth

The children are becoming spoilt, like "little emperors"

if you have more than one child you pay a fine and if you a minortiy you can have more than one but otherwise it hasn't been.

sometimes it did. but other times, people were caught because they had broken it and had more children. :)

It is due to the one child policy, so there are less young people coming into the world than there was 50 years ago, it will clear itself up in time though.
