A 10 year old boy who appears ill develop orchitis The most likely explantion for this is?

Man at any age can get orchitis , if the bacteria went into the testilce , the inflammation is cuased . Maybe some one will say that the ten year old boy has not have a mature testicle , but , it does not mean that they can not get the ortchitis .

Bacterial orchitis is a disease which reflect swelling, edema, necrosis and bleeding of the spermaduct caused by bacteria infection. Most often, bacterial orchitis is the result of epididymitis. It is an inflammation of the coiled tube that connects the spermaduct and the testicle. The spermaduct carries sperm from your testicles. When inflammation in the epididymis spreads to the testicle, the resulting condition is known as epididymo-orchitis.

Often the cause of the infection is a sexually transmitted disease (STD), particularly gonorrhea or chlamydia. Other causes of infection may be related to having been born with abnormalities in your urinary tract or having had a catheter or medical instruments inserted into your penis.

Orchitis symptoms usually develop suddenly. Orchitis symptoms may include:

Testicular swelling on one or both sides

Pain ranging from mild to severe

Tenderness in one or both testicles, which may last for weeks

Nausea

Fever

Discharge from penis

If the boy has some of these symptoms , that means that he has got this disease .

All medicines have side effects. But many people don't feel the side effects, or they are able to deal with them. Ask your pharmacist about the side effects of each medicine you take. Side effects are also listed in the information that comes with your medicine.

Here are some important things to think about:

1. Usually the benefits of the medicine are more important than any minor side effects.

2. Side effects may go away after you take the medicine for a while.

3. If side effects still bother you and you wonder if you should keep taking the medicine, call your doctor. He or she may be able to lower your dose or change your medicine. Do not suddenly quit taking your medicine unless your doctor tells you to.

I'm pregnant now and my Dr. told me that 9-12 months of trying is required before they even consider the possibility of infertility. Try to have a lot of sex 14 days after the 1st day of your period (this is your most fertile time)...I had sex all the time though, as much as possible-sperm can live in your body for up to 3 days, and sometimes you don't ovulate right on time so other days can be fertile days too. :)

When a male takes a urethra an swab test at the same time for chlamydia can both tests be false negative If so what is the percentage?

An estimate, from both tests showing negative, is less than a 2% chance you actually have the infection. The male urethral swab has a false negative rate of 15-20%. The rate of a false negative for the urine test has a false negative rate of 3-5.5%. So the chances of both being false negative, if they were done on separate days, is somewhere between 0.6% and 1.1%.

If you had them done one right after the other on the same day, the risk of a false negative result goes up, as they couldn't have been done according to instructions.

Ok, this is right out of Edgar cayce's "encyclopedia of healing" and it's worked really well for me.

1) Apple Cider Vinegar Packs: 4 cups apple cider vinegar in big bowl with a salt shaker amount of salt, mix with spoon, best left cold. Towel that can double up on the injury (soak), ring out but leave good and damp. I wrap plastic (seran) wrap around the towel 5 or 6 times to keep from leaking everywhere. Aleviates pain almost immediately helps heal the muscles, ligaments. Leave on for an hour, once to twice a day. Doesn't smell good but will definitely help!

2) Take an iron and calcium vitamin once a day, eat fruits and vegies, NO Meat.

3) Get a good back massage, to stimulate healing.

If it is your leg, stay off it as much as possible.
