Is The Script a christian band?

No, the Script is not a christian band. In fact, the band actually received some controversy from several religious groups over the success of the lead single "Breakeven" as the lyrics refer to someone in the song 'praying to a God they don't believe in.' Some christian groups took offense to the song's popularity.

Is the song dead and gone christian?

While I cannot speak to the state of T.I.'s soul, I can say that Dead and Gone expresses really strong Christian themes. The title itself has to come from Paul, who makes the same case multiple times, most strikingly in Ephesians 4:21-24 ("you have heard about him and were taught in him, as the truth is in Jesus, to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness."). Being reborn and justified and sanctified (putting off the old self, and putting on the new) is an entirely Christian theme.

The Bible verse at the beginning of the video (1 Corinthians 13:11) speaks to growing up and being a man, "putting childish things away." T.I. then proceeds to offer real advice: "Let me kick it to you right quick partner; not as a gangster, but as a grown man." He is speaking as a mature mentor who has learned and grown through his own mistakes; he is acting within a Christian paradigm of discipleship. The rest of the song is dedicated to offering an alternative to living in sin. He describes his own pain and faults in the hope that others will learn from them.

Justin Timberlake seems to play the role of the one learning to put off his old self ("trying to find my way back home"), but who isn't there yet. His bridge is really interesting, and I'm guessing biblical. I don't know exactly what east, west, and north symbolize, but it is undoubtedly symbolic. North probably looks to the future and to heaven simultaneously. The absence of south is curious, but probably has to do with not looking back at your old self (because it's dead and gone).

Finally, the title of T.I.'s album is "Paper Trail." There a number of practical reasons for this (having to do with jail and his conviction), but ultimately a paper trail leads people to a certain point. I wonder if T.I. is attempting to appeal to listeners in the secular world and getting them to follow his "paper trail" to this point. The idea is that they listen to "Whatever You Like" 'cause they want to, but that leads them, ultimately, to killing your old self and learning how to really live. One can certainly question the propriety or effectiveness of this, but it may be what T.I. is going for.

Was Aaliyah Christian?

No. Although Aliyah grew up as a Roman Catholic, she grew out of it like most others in her generation. Most Catholics themselves aren't really Christian. In order to know if a person is saved, you can tell by their words and actions towards the end of their life. Watch her last movie "Queen of the Damned". You will think she was a consort to Satan himself, filled with sexual immorality and all kinds of vileness, playing as a vampire queen drinking blood and having sex all over the place, scantily clad. People think those movies are fake, but God sees those as very real actions, fake or not.

And secondly, a real Christian would never act in such movies as that. A catholic might, but definitely not a born-again believer. If anyone tells you Aaliyah is in heaven, they are deceiving themselves and you.

This coming from a real Christian of more than 20 years and a minister.

Is Nujabes a Christian?

There is limited information available regarding Nujabes' personal religious beliefs, as he was a private individual. Nujabes, a Japanese hip-hop producer and DJ, was known for his spiritual and philosophical themes in his music, which could be interpreted as having influences from various spiritual traditions. Without explicit statements from Nujabes himself, it is challenging to definitively determine his religious affiliation. It is essential to respect his privacy and focus on his musical contributions rather than speculating on his personal beliefs.

Why demon hunter uses a demon for them symbol?

Oh, dude, demon hunters use demons as their symbol because they're like, "Hey, let's keep our enemies close, right?" It's all about that edgy vibe, like, "I'll use your worst nightmare against you." Plus, it's a great conversation starter at demon hunter parties.

Is Thousand Foot Krutch a Christian band?

Thousand Foot Krutch is a Christian band because the members are Christian. However, like many Christian Bands, they don't necessarily write about God or the Christian faith. Trevor McNevan notes, "We make music for everyone, not just this or that demographic, or set of beliefs. I'm a Christian guy, that's my faith, but I write songs about life, just like anyone else in this."

Your words fly up your thoughts remain below Words without thoughts never to heaven go?

If you're looking for the original origin of this phrase, it is King Claudius's line in William Shakespeare's Hamlet. Claudius is attempting to pray, but uses this phrase to say that it is worthless and that God will not hear his prayers asking for forgiveness because he is not truly sorry. He is not sorry because he is still reaping the benefits of his sin.

Who are the past keyboard and/or piano players in Amy Grant's career?

What are the notes to play the song 'This Is Home' by Switchfoot on the piano?

The right hand plays a G and a D then an E. Let me explain it this way. You play a G cord, but without the third note. Then u play just a plain old E. then play a F chord without the third note, then the E, then repeat. the left hand plays whatever the first note is of the chords, which are are C A Fm G A, so the left hand will play a C note, A note, F note, G note, and an A note. Hope that helps!
