Christopher Columbus only landed on the mainland on his fourth and last voyage. He spent two months exploring the coasts of Honduras, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica, before arriving in Almirante Bay, Panama.

queen Isabella Christopher Columbus asked King Ferdinand & Queen Isabella of Spain for money to try out his idea of traveling west to reach the East. Queen Isabella refused Columbus at first. Later King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella gave Columbus three ships, a crew of about ninety men, and some money. The three ships were the Niña, Pinta, and Santa María.

Columbus never made land in North America, so he didn't take any ships to " New York". NY also did not exist in the 1400's. Nothing was there until the Dutch founded a colony 200 years later. So, he,took ZERO ships to NY.

Because the king was forcing them to go to a church they didn't want to go to and the rules were terrible so the sailed away and then met the Indians. The Indians then taught them how to plant corn and how to domesticate other plants and animals after this they had a big feast and they called it thanksgiving.

Christopher Columbus was proven wrong by Amerigo Vespucci because Amerigo had looked for signs but he found none. It had turned out the earth was bigger than they thought so they had to look farther than Marco polo had thought.

He travelled all over thr world,including south America, where he brought alot of love but hate a discontent,by bringing along with his sailors diseases...something to to with a particular tribes in the south America countries perhaps the Andes not sure..but he also taught alot of new things..

The Nina and the Pinta were small sailing vessels. These ships sank because of storms that were encountered in the Atlantic Ocean. Due to their size the ships were unable to handle the massive amounts of water that was encountered on board.

they thought he was a bit crazy about finding the new lands, the americas, they did not beleive him until one day he went on his ship to go with him,this was his third time going (he went the first two alone),and he ddied so they never new the truth.
