No

Another view:

Yes and no. The tissues lost to the surgeon's knife are gone forever, along with their rich bundles of nervous tissue. However, there are some surgeons who claim some success in restoring some degree of functional foreskin. But why would one want to cut the penis again, after the trauma of the initial cut? There are procedures that can be done over time, perhaps 1 and 1/2 years or more, where the existing skin is gently tugged and stretched in order to produce some functioning foreskin. These 'tugging' methods can be modestly to highly successful, they can be done privately and individually without anything showing, and involve easily obtained inexpensive, noninvasive and nonelectrical equipment.

Does fellatio feel better to a circumcised or an uncircumcised penis?

The foreskin works in a number of ways to maximize the sensitivity of the penis and to maximize pleasure during oral sex. * The foreskin functions to protect the sensitive glans (head) of the penis, keeping it moist and protecting it from rubbing against clothing, which can slowly desensitize the glans. * The foreskin itself is also very sensitive and rich with nerve endings, making it very sensitive to stimulation. The inner foreskin and frenulum are the more sensitive parts of the foreskin. *The foreskin works to facilitate a natural sliding motion during sexual intercourse, oral sex, and masturbation. The foreskin slides up and down on the head of the penis, which not only stimulates the foreskin itself, but also provides additional stimulation to the head of the penis. The natural motion of the foreskin also allows masturbation without the use of additional lubrication. While oral sex is certainly pleasurable for both circumcised and uncircumcised men, the uncircumcised penis is fully equipped to receive the maximal stimulation provided by sexual intercourse, oral sex, and masturbation.

Why are your erections painful after circumcision?

THey usually aren't! Once the procedure is complete, you will probably be wrapped up for a little while.... But the foreskin is fairly useless.... Most people circumcise males because it is easier to keep clean.

Although.... Being uncircumcised makes sex more pleasurable.

Why do Jewish boys have a bris?

In the Jewish religion, all male children are supposed to be circumcised, always on the 8th day of their life unless health issues require a delay. This is in accordance with verses in the Hebrew Bible (Tanach) where God commanded that the Hebrews (later known as Jews) perform this action.

The purpose was to consecrate the boy to the service of the One God, to enter the covenant which God had made with His people. The word "Bris" is the Yiddish pronunciation of the Hebrew Brit Milah, referring to the mitzvah (divinely given guideline) to circumcise the male children. It was the first commandment given to the Jews, and Abraham was the first to have a circumcision.

Was Montgomery clift circumcised?

I don't believe so -- according to the coroner responsible for his autopsy, he was not. Which makes sense -- isn't circumcision a more recent phenomenon for non-Jewish American males?

Why do Jews believe that circumcision is not required of the descendants of Ishmael even though Abraham circumcised Ishmael?

The Bible (Genesis 17:23) notes that Abraham circumcised not only Isaac and Ishmael, but also the entirety of his household, even though they were not part or parcel of what would become part of Abraham's heritage. This is made specifically clear by the fact that some of these individuals were foreigners. Therefore, being circumcised is not an indication of a requirement for all of those individuals to circumcise their descendants, otherwise we would see ancient Israelites demanding that their slaves and "strangers among them" be circumcised. Instead, being part of the Abrahamic covenant is requisite to being circumcised and while Jews believe that Ishmael has a God-given role to play in the world as ordained in the Biblical period, it is not the Abrahamic Covenant. This passed exclusively to Isaac (Genesis 17:21) and then Jacob. The only two prophecies that Ishmael was to fulfill were to be numerous (Genesis 17:20) and to have his hand against the world (Genesis 16:12).

In Judaism, the requirements for any non-Jew are exclusively those laid out in the Seven Noahide Laws. None of them require non-Jewish men to be circumcised. It is certainly permissible for them to do so, but Judaism does not claim that they must do so.

Is Andrew G circumcised?

Can you have children being intact i.e uncircumcised?

Yes. The presence or lack of a foreskin has no effect on male fertility. As long as a man has healthy testes, never had a vasectomy (or had a successful reversal), and he can ejaculate, he can get a woman pregnant.

The fact is that a circumcised man is more likely to have a problem reaching orgasm is he ages. This is commonly the result of the desensitizing effect that the removal of the foreskin has on the glans as well as the loss of all of the sensitive erogenous nerves in the foreskin. The circumcised man is also more likely to suffer from premature ejaculation which means he ejaculates often before he gets into the vagina. therefore the intact male is more likely to bring about fertilization on demand.

Is circumcision in male infants in the US increased or decreased as of today?

Circumcision is far less common now in the United States than it once was. While during the 1970s and 1980, around 80% of male infants were circumcised in the United States. A study conducted in the United States from 2005-2007 found that circumcision rates had fallen to below 40% in most of the United States. In the western United States, fewer than 25% of infant males were circumcised in 2005-2007.

How is circumcision performed?

The procedure of performing circumcision depends upon whether it's to an infant, particularly a newborn of less than six weeks, or older. The age variants will not dictate how circumcision is performed because the procedure is relatively the same, but whether anesthetic will be administered and how.

Mechanically, a stainless steel or plastic bell shaped device is placed between the foreskin and the head of the penis. This protects the head from any accidental incision. If local anesthetic is administered, it is injected at this point into the base of the penis, into the cavernous muscle and skin. In adults there may be two different injection sites (the 10 o'clock and the two o'clock positions).

The circumcisionist ( a surgeon or a specially-trained Rabbi) will then mark the area of the foreskin to be removed.

Next, the tissue is crushed with the hemostats in adult cases, and the foreskin

is cut from the top to the marked area. Now the foreskin is sliced off around the protected glans (the head of the penis). Finally, the parietal and visceral layers of the now-exposed incision are sutured together, except in the case of newborns, to whom this part is not necessary.

However, today, physicians have now developed a new method of circumcision that produces a cleaner, faster, easier, and virtually infection free methodology in performing circumcisions. they have now come up with a device that is attached to the penis with a tubular device that is placed over the head, and clamp that fastens on to the tubular device which crushes the foreskin, allowing the surgeon to perform a more precise circumcision with uniform results. After the procedure has been completed the device is left on the penis for for another five days before it is removed, negating the need for suturing. when the device is removed the necrotic tissue left behind will disappear in another three days.
