Once the bulb holder has been removed from the car you can then open it and change the bulb. Reverse these steps for refitting. to change bulb in temp gauge you will need to remove lcd panel to do this you will need to remove the black plastic casing around dash i used a nail that i bent at one end then if you look inside at the top you will find 3 small holes in plastic hook the bent end in the middle hole and gentily pull down you will see the plastic cowl come away from dash just just pull it towards you and then remove it then you see two star drive headed screws i think you will need a t25 bit just undo both then pull dash towards you there will be two wires conected so just dont pull to far you should have enogh room to acess the bulbs you will see them there are about 8 in the panel you just turn them half a turn and pull out then replace them by puting in and turn the opposite way you may need a small set of pliers the bulbs r about 99p each

kinda tricky to explain in words....
But here goes...
Around the radio unit there is a plastic panel. This extends down and around the LCD display unit and houses the Air Con sensor.
Gently remove this panel. i suggest you apply gently leverage with a blunt knife from the thickest side first.
Once removed, the panel will hand freely on the Air Con sensor cables.
Here you will see the hex key bolts (torx) that hold the radio unit in place.
Sounds very easy. it is.
Your head will start to hurt when you attempt to insert the new/replacement radio. Be cartful of trapping wires behind, when inserting.
Mine had a piece of cassette tape jammed in it for year, but i always used the CD Multi changer. It wasn't until the sound completely went on the unit that i attempted the removal.
Stangley enough. After i unplugged the unit from the ISO plugs, cleaned out the jammed tape and a load of dust, the unit worked good as new, with sound, and still is..... TWO fixes for the price of one...

How do you fill the radiator on a citroen xsara?
When filling a radiator from empty or if you suspect an air lock, you need to bleed the coolant system. On the passenger side of the radiator you will find a bleed point. There is another one on the heater pipes where they enter the bulkhead (firewall) Release both bleed points and fit a length of tube and a small funnel to the filler cap overflow point. Get a small plastic bag and a cable tie and seal the filler aperture.
Start to fill the system via the funnel and when coolant flows from the bleed points
close them. (The radiator will fill first)
When the coolant flowing from heater pipe bleed point is free from air bubbles the system is full. Remove the fill tube and plastic bag and run the engine until the thermostat opens. Check levels and replace the filler cap.
