I had the same problem apparently the child locks are prone to movement because they are easy to turn.I looked everywhere for the answer and tried most of the suggestions that I could find on the net,non of these worked and some were impossible for me to do without breaking a few fingers or shrinking my hands. After nearly givin up I had A bright idea, unusual for me,and adopted the following method that worked straight away.1. Remove door panel....2.obtain a very powerful magnet....3.Place the magnet on the end of the child lock mechanism{the internal door opening linkage helps to support it}....4.lock the doors using the remote...5.Open using remote...This worked for me and I didn`t lose any skin or have to adopt strange and painful postures.Dont ask me how it worked but it did.The magnet must have helped the solenoid to withdraw as I had hoped. GIVE IT A GO GOOD LUCK

Could anybody tell you where the glow plugs are mounted on a citroen c3.1.4hdi?
Having spent ages looking for them on my daughters car, i can now tell you the glow plugs on the c3 1.4 are situated on the cylinder head on the bulkhead side of the engine.
The air filter box must be removed for access. Space is very limited and a light and mirror will probably be needed to see them. The mounting bracket for the airbox will need to be removed.
Not a nice job, i`ll bet a lot don`t get changed! Chris.
But be careful, the glow plugs are barely used, and are unlikely the cause of poor starting as the C3 1.4hdi is a high pressure common rail engine.
