How do you remove the coffee smell from an insulated coffee cup?
Mineral deposits from hard water as well as staining from the coffee oils and caffeine can be removed with a mixture of salt and lemon juice, as well as any limescale remover or degreasing cleaner like 409. Make sure you rinse the coffee urn very very well as these things can affect the taste of your coffee if not rinsed completely. Also, do NOT NOT NOT NOT run any of these things through your coffee maker brew cycle. You will destroy the machine, never get the chemicals outs and in a worse case, cause serious illness.

To make coffee jelly, brew a strong cup of coffee and mix it with sugar to taste while it's still hot. Dissolve gelatin (about one tablespoon per cup of coffee) in the hot coffee, stirring until fully dissolved. Pour the mixture into a mold or container and let it cool to room temperature before refrigerating for several hours until set. Once firm, cut the jelly into cubes and serve, optionally with whipped cream or milk.

How old are the Norelco Dial-a-brew 10 cup beige coffee makers?
I know they're at least 33 years old. My husband got one as a wedding gift in 1975. After his ex left, he got custody of this appliance, and we're still using it today. We don't drink coffee, but it's served as an iced tea maker for the last 25 years. Sadly, I think it's on its last legs... They are one of the few coffee makers that release the water at the proper temperature of 195 degrees. Most of the current ones on the market only reach 170 which doesn't put the full coffee flavor through the filter. Two modern day makers can reach the temperature, but cost over $180. I bought mine, brand new unused on Ebay, for $32 and if they last 30 years like they are built to, I'll be dead and it'll still be brewing beautifully.
Who invented the first coffee maker?
In 1865, coffee percolators appeared in Europe and America thanks to inventor James Mason.
Tell that person they need a "CHECK UP FROM THE NECK UP", because that is not true what so ever! If that was the case then how would all of these new cold coffee drinks sold everywhere now, keep their caffiene content after being stored for days or longer. So don't worry, the coffee in your thermos will keep you "POP LOCKIN" all day long.
Duraband coffee maker cracked while making coffee will you please replace the decanter?

How do you control the temp of coffee maker?
The only way to answer this is to brew a pot of coffee and take its temperature. The most important information is not the temperature of the brewed coffee, but the temperature of the water doing the brewing; which should be between 190- 205* F. Any colder, and the coffee grounds will not release enough of their inherent flavors. And any hotter, the coffee will be over extracted, releasing unpleasant, bitter flavors into the final product.
The check the brewing temperature, place a digital thermometer into the stream of water from the shower head, and wait at least fifteen seconds for an accurate reading. (Do this without any coffee being brewed) If the temperature is too cold, buy a new machine. Or you could use a Coffee Press instead--the coffee is richer, thicker, and the temperature is controlled by the user.
Who invented the hot coffee cup band?
The inventor is not known. The coffee cup band is pictured in prehistoric cave paintings in Southern France and Northern Spain. When cups were chiseled out of stone, the heat from the coffee would transfer directly into the hand. Cavemen wove the bands out of palm leaves and wrapped them around their coffee cups.
Can you make coffee with milk instead of water in an automatic drip coffee maker?
Can you? Technically, yes.
Should You? Absolutely not. The milk is heated to boiling temperatures inside the coffee maker. This will cause a couple of problems: the milk could coagulate and clog the coffee maker. Also, the milk residue will collect inside the coffee maker and spoil.
Some coffee makers actually have a holding tank to store hot water so there is hot water on demand when you want to make a pot of coffee. If you pour milk in, it will displace the hot water and leave the milk in the holding tank until you make your next pot. That means the milk would be heated and left in the holding tank to breed bacteria until you make the next pot of coffee.
Either way it is a recipe for disaster.
Don't do it!!!
You are tottlay right! besides if there was any milk not used you know like left over and it was not much, but still it would go rotton!
How do you clean regal ware poly perk coffee maker?
Every time you use it, rinse out the inside and the basket until the water runs out clear. Then fill it with water until the bottom 1/4 inch of the basket is immersed. Run it. Whenever it gets a stale taste anyway, get some baking soda (it'll be a lot).
Put about 1/4 inch or a bit less into the basket, fill the pot to right below the max fill line, and run it. Repeat until the water runs out nearly clear (it'll be quite a few times, so you'll need more than one box of soda). Then, to get rid of the baking-soda taste, fill it to above the bottom of the basket with water. Add 1/3 to 1/4 capful of vinegar. Stir it with your finger into the water, put it in the basket, and run it. This will react away the last of the baking soda residue-- don't worry about any white powder that remains. Finally, run it with empty water. It will be nice and fresh. This is quite harmless and can be repeated any time your percolator tastes stale.
