Columbine Shootings

The motive for the murders at Columbine High School were hate and revenge. Not hate and revenge for bullying as originally thought, but for Harris' and Klebold's hatred of all mankind for being inferior to their superior intellect. Klebold was a typical underachieving, depressed teen who hated and blamed himself more than he hated or blamed others. Harris was a psychopath who would have eventually, on his own, wreaked havoc on the world he hated and the stupid, worthless people who inhabited it; he enjoyed hating, he enjoyed demeaning, and he enjoyed the idea of inflicting pain and suffering on others. Harris was also an adept liar. His friends and classmates reported that he lied about anything and everything. He enjoyed lying as much as he enjoyed hating and knew that it gave him an advantage. Authorities have gained a lot of insight into these personalities since their deaths because they not only left behind their websites and videos, but also journals chronicling their true feelings.

It's hard to say, but there's evidence of the two shooters at Columbine, Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris, being bullied on a daily basis. Many say that this made them snap and plan to take it out on the school that they hated so much.

Also, if you take the time to read (or read about) their journals, they wrote entry after entry of incredibly angry rants. They hated mankind and thought that they were more evolved or more enlightened than everyone else around them.

They didn't really kill anyone in particular at Columbine... They just wanted to achieve a high body count.

The bottom line is that they were disturbed kids who were treated poorly and hated humanity. They didn't just one day snap...they'd had this massacre planned for well over a year. i agree they planned it for over 12 months and they planned it pretty well to bad that they did what they did they could have been very successful in life

On April 20th, 1999 two senior students named Dylan and Eric brought guns to school, they also set up home made bombs in the cafeteria. When the bombs failed to go off, they began shooting. The library was the location of the worst attack. 12 kids died, and 1 teacher. Many were wounded, and then Eric and Dylan committed suicide in the library.

The two shooters, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, were exposed to alot of violence as children. On the other hand, Martha Stout ("The Sociopath Next Door") and Robert Hare ("Without Conscience") have theorized that one of the boys was a sociopath and the other a delusional follower.

Eric was an angry teen who just wanted to hurt people. He wanted to do something people would remember.

That's what the media wants you to believe.

They were bullied and the school (as usaul) does nothing about it.

That's why it happened.

Not because of Doom, or Natural Born Killers, Nor Marylin Manson. It was provoked by the schools respected football team.

The order was: Rachel Scott (outside), Daniel Rohrbough (outside), Dave Sanders (inside hallway, shot third but died last from blood loss), and the rest were in the library: Kyle Velasquez, followed by Steve Curnow, Cassie Bernall, Isiah Shoels, Matt Kechter, Lauren Townsend, John Tomlin, Kelly Fleming, Daniel Mauser, and Corey DePooter was last.

From victims hiding in a cupboard they state the last words Eric and Dylan said, in unison, were "one, two, three!" And then two gunshots were heard, obviously both of them having shot themselves. Their final statements are on what are known as the basement tapes which send their apologies to mom and dad and also friends... how ironic they apologized to friends who they may have killed.

Wrong, Dylan or Eric asked Cassie Burnell or Rachel scott do they believe in god before shooting them but, it was said that cassie was under the table and was never asked so nobody really knows but the victim.

They killed a total of 12 students, one teacher and themselvs. The murdered are: Cassie Bernall (18 years old.), Steve Curnow (14 years old.), Corey DePooter (17 years old.), Kelly Fleming (16 years old.), Matt Kechter (16 years old.), Daniel Mauser (15 years old.), Daniel Rohrbough (15 years old.), Rachel Scott (17 years old. ), Isaiah Shoels (18 years old.), John Tomlin (16 years old.), Lauren Townsend (18 years old.), Kyle Velasquez (16 years old.), and Coach Dave Sanders (47 years old.).

Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold killed 12 students and 1 teacher, and wounded 23 others, before taking their own lives.

It is believed to be part of the problem, but those kids, Eric and Dylan were psychopaths. They played way too many video games, and got into a lot of bad stuff, they were vandals, they drank, and theywere just totally twisted. I dont think you can blame any one thing for the reson they decided to do what they did
