Gary Larson , the creator of 'The Farside' cartoon , actively discourages posting upon the Internet his cartoons so the best way to find these cartoons is to find them at your local bookstore . Below is a copy of Gary Larson's letter :

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

I'm walking a fine line here.

On the one hand, I confess to finding it quite flattering that some of my fans have created web sites displaying and / or distributing my work on the Internet. And, on the other, I'm struggling to find the words that convincingly but sensitively persuade these Far Side enthusiasts to "cease and desist" before they have to read these words from some lawyer.

What impact this unauthorized use has had (and is having) in tangible terms is, naturally, of great concern to my publishers and therefore to me -- but it's not the focus of this letter. My effort here is to try and speak to the intangible impact, the emotional cost to me, personally, of seeing my work collected, digitized, and offered up in cyberspace beyond my control.

Years ago I was having lunch one day with the cartoonist Richard Guindon, and the subject came up how neither one of us ever solicited or accepted ideas from others. But, until Richard summed it up quite neatly, I never really understood my own aversions to doing this: ''It's like having someone else write in your diary, he said. And how true that statement rang with me . In effect, we drew cartoons that we hoped would be entertaining or, at the very least, not boring; but regardless, they would always come from an intensely personal, and therefore original perspective.

To attempt to be "funny" is a very scary, risk-laden proposition. (Ask any stand-up comic who has ever "bombed" on stage.) But if there was ever an axiom to follow in this business, it would be this: be honest to yourself and -- most important -- respect your audience.

So, in a nutshell (probably an unfortunate choice of words for me), I only ask that this respect be returned, and the way for anyone to do that is to please, please refrain from putting The Far Side out on the Internet. These cartoons are my "children," of sorts, and like a parent, I'm concerned about where they go at night without telling me. And, seeing them at someone's web site is like getting the call at 2:00 a.m. that goes, "Uh, Dad, you're not going to like this much, but guess where I am."

I hope my explanation helps you to understand the importance this has for me, personally, and why I'm making this request.

Please send my "kids" home. I'll be eternally grateful.

Baby Huey perhaps, one of the most infantile and moronic. he used to use the catch-phrase, always chanted at the end of an episode: I"m A Mental Retard!

There is no official explanation, but it is implied that they are deceased, as Robert stated that the new house was bought by an inheritance.

Snoopy doesn't like the Red Baron. He also despises Frieda's cat, Faron. (Frieda was the character who made a big deal of having "naturally curly hair".)

Charlie Brown's father was a barber. His first name was never mentioned.

I'll try to give a more detailed description in the coming weeks, but I happen to have just started working in a building that Mr. Larson frequents, in Seattle. From the one and only time I have helped him, I can tell you that he's in good shape for his age, is of relatively average height, and has grayish/white hair. More later...

Snoopy had several brothers. His most well-known brother was Spike, but others included Marbles, Andy, Olaf or Rover (although he was added in film and not in comic strips)
Snoopy even had two sisters: Belle and Molly.

Calvin and Hobbes was a comic strip. It was never made into a cartoon show or any sort of animated feature. Its creator, Bill Waterson, disliked the idea of letting his comic strip into anyone else's hands for any reason. This is also why the only graphics or anything but the Waterson's own work is produced illegally.

Lots of characters episodes adventures mysterys drama horror comedy and good rateings but really a good story a good dressed person animal just think of someing i mean look at spongebobsquarepants but if you want a bad assed show then go to fox usa and if the scripts good enoght then hopefully you will be on your way. Arguably politicians such as Governor Thomas Dewey, who unsuccessfully ran against Truman as I recall. Huey coud have been Huey long, Baby Huey is a different, non-Disney demented Duck best known for chanting ( I'M a Mental Retard) at the conclusion of most episodes. It is believed he"s been grounded for some years. Baby Huey is a product of the Harvey Comics group- not Disney.

Schroeder is the character who plays the piano. Lucy, Linus's sister, spends a lot of time leaning on Schroeder's piano, listening to him play, and talking about marriage in the future.

Draw what you know. The people and places around you are your best place to start. There is humor in very nearly everything if you just look at it.

Snoopy the dog was created by Charles M Schulz.

Gary Larson was the creator of the comic strip 'The Far Side' that was published from January the 1st 1980 through January 1st 1995 .

Charles M. Schulz is the author of peanuts. He died in 2000 and his son now does the strips for him.

Snoop dogg is the second child of three brothers. Im not sure about the other ones but one of his youngest brothers name is Bing Worthington. I have no clue why they hae different last names:)

Charlie Brown's parents have never been seen or named.
