What is hazardous commodity description?

When they say "hazardous commodity" they're usually talking about hazardous materials in bulk.

The first thing that comes to my mind is carbon monoxide in a tube trailer. Most people think, "carbon monoxide? Why would you want THAT?" Carbon monoxide has a lot of uses in the chemical industry, and it's a good fuel...so there's a lot of carbon monoxide going down the roads in trailers. The problem with it is, it's highly flammable and very toxic to boot. It is therefore a Hazardous Material, and in trade it is a Hazardous Commodity.

OTOH, if you were to put carbon monoxide in cylinders and put the cylinders in a truck, it becomes a hazardous packaged good.

How can you find the current enterprise value ev for a for barrel of oil?

No.

Enterprise value refers to a measure of a company's worth. Oil prices will vary depending on the quality of oil and demand for at any time. Oil companies actively sell their crude oil to a worldwide market, and the price can change from minute to minute. Their negotiated sales price is not public information.

However, the "furtures contract" selling price of a set of similar crude types, referred to as a basket of crudes , (West Texas Light, for example) can be very easily identified from the commodities market prices (see related link) and is a good proxy to study the trend of actual contracted prices.

Where in the bible does it tell us the rice of grain and other commodities in end times?

Look at Revelation 6:5-6.

When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, 'come and see!' I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four beasts, saying, 'A quart of wheat for a day's wages, and three quarts of barley for a day's wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!

What is the minimum time span to trade a future contract?

It depends on what you mean by trading the futures contract.

If you're a speculator who bought the thing in hopes of selling it for a profit before the settlement date (this happens all the time, and my opinion is it's stupid to do so--you're more likely to lose money speculating on futures than you are in making it) the minimum time is the time it takes for the price of the underlying commodity to go up enough that you'll make money on the deal.

If you use the underlying commodity...well, let's just say you could buy a futures contract from one of the idiots in the last paragraph the day before the settlement date.

How do you convert price per ton to price per bushel?

To convert price per ton to price per bushel, you need to know the weight of the commodity in a bushel. For example, corn has a standard weight of 56 pounds per bushel. First, convert the price per ton to price per pound by dividing by 2,000 (since there are 2,000 pounds in a ton). Then multiply the price per pound by the number of pounds in a bushel (e.g., 56 pounds for corn) to get the price per bushel.

Pillsbury does not have a ticker symbol. It's a brand name that was purchased by General Mills (NYSE: GIS), but anti-trust action forced General Mills to "split" the Pillsbury subsidery. The J.M. Each corporation manufactures products with the Pillsbury brand on them, with General Mills producing frozen/refrigerated items, and Smucker producing frostings and dry baking products.
