MAR (Memory Address Register) holds the address of the memory location to be accessed or written to in the memory unit, whereas MDR (Memory Data Register) holds the actual data that is to be written to a memory location or data read from a memory location. MAR is used to specify the address, while MDR is used to temporarily store the data during memory operations.
What information can be gathered by using the command netstat?
The command netstat provides information about network connections, routing tables, interface statistics, masquerade connections, and multicast memberships. It can show all active network connections, listening ports, and the state of the connections. Additionally, it displays information about routing tables, interface statistics such as packets transmitted and received, and network protocol information.
Semiconductors are useful in electronics because they can selectively conduct electrical current, making them ideal for building devices like transistors, diodes, and integrated circuits. These components are the building blocks of modern electronics and are essential for applications ranging from computers and smartphones to medical devices and renewable energy systems.
What does computed tomography mean?
Computed tomography, often referred to as CT or CAT scan, is a medical imaging technique that uses X-rays to create detailed cross-sectional images of the body. By compiling multiple X-ray images from different angles, CT scans provide a more comprehensive view of internal structures, allowing healthcare providers to accurately diagnose and monitor various medical conditions.
Where can you find a frost line map?
The frost line is most commonly the depth to which the groundwater in soil is expected to freeze. Maps of this can be found on Wikipedia, and different frost lines for different areas can be found on that regions department of labor website.
Are phospholipids polarized molecules?
Yes, phospholipids are polarized molecules because they contain both a hydrophilic (polar) head and hydrophobic (nonpolar) tails. This dual nature allows them to form the lipid bilayer structure in cell membranes.
CAD provide us pre idea or data for our succesive work.
If you are going to design anything that is not physically present at this time, you have to first create its appearance how will that should look like and this work is now very easy with the help of CAD.
What is the definition of auto-ignite?
Auto-ignite refers to the spontaneous ignition of a substance without an external ignition source, typically due to high temperature or pressure. It occurs when the substance reaches its auto-ignition temperature or pressure and ignites without the need for a spark or flame.
What tools that can be used to measure performance?
a stopwatch, a ruler, a chart, a calculator.
Imagine you interviewed 2 typists for a clerical job and gave them a test - type 3 pages of text. How would you choose the best? You could time them, use a spellchecker to see how many corrections were needed after a first draft or make a judgment about how well the text was presented. That's 3 different tools.
Why does a rubber band not go back to its original length after it has been stretched?
No easy way to answer this question (Or at least I can't) so read below: Rubber and Elasticity In most elastic materials, such as metals used in springs, the elastic behavior is caused by bond distortions. When force is applied, bond lengths deviate from the (minimum energy) equilibrium and strain energy is stored electrostatically. Rubber is often assumed to behave in the same way, but it turns out this is a poor description. Rubber is a curious material because, unlike metals, strain energy is stored thermally, as well as electrostatically. In its relaxed state rubber consists of long, coiled-up polymer chains that are interlinked at a few points. Between a pair of links each monomer can rotate freely about its neighbour. This gives each section of chain leeway to assume a large number of geometries, like a very loose rope attached to a pair of fixed points. At room temperature rubber stores enough kinetic energy so that each section of chain oscillates chaotically, like the above piece of rope being shaken violently. When rubber is stretched the "loose pieces of rope" are taut and thus no longer able to oscillate. Their kinetic energy is given off as excess heat. Therefore, the entropy decreases when going from the relaxed to the stretched state, and it increases during relaxation. This change in entropy can also be explained by the fact that a tight section of chain can fold in fewer ways (W) than a loose section of chain, at a given temperature (nb. entropy is defined as S=k*ln(W)). Relaxation of a stretched rubber band is thus driven by an increase in entropy, and the force experienced is not electrostatic, rather it is a result of the thermal energy of the material being converted to kinetic energy. Rubber relaxation is endothermic. The material undergoes adiabatic cooling during contraction. This property of rubber can easily be verified by holding a stretched rubber band to your lips and relaxing it. Stretching of a rubber band is in some ways equivalent to the compression of an ideal gas, and relaxation in equivalent to its expansion. Note that a compressed gas also exhibits "elastic" properties, for instance inside an inflated car tire. The fact that stretching is equivalent to compression may seem somewhat counter-intuitive, but it makes sense if rubber is viewed as a one-dimensional gas. Stretching reduces the "space" available to each section of chain. Vulcanization of rubber creates more disulphide bonds between chains so it makes each free section of chain shorter. The result is that the chains tighten more quickly for a given length of strain. This increases the elastic force constant and makes rubber harder and less extendable.
How computer science related to information science?
Computer science is a field that focuses on the theory, design, development, and application of computer systems. Information science, on the other hand, is concerned with the collection, organization, storage, retrieval, and dissemination of information. While computer science provides the tools and techniques to process data efficiently, information science deals with how this data is organized, managed, and utilized to create knowledge. Both fields overlap in areas such as data management, information retrieval, and database design.
What is cultural revitalization?
Cultural revitalization is a process of promoting and recognizing the cultural identity which is lost throughout time and is on the verge of dying. It is the key in keeping oneâ??s culture and to keep it running from generation to generation.
CAD stands for Computer-Aided Design, which refers to the use of computer software to create, modify, analyze, or optimize designs for a wide range of applications such as engineering, architecture, and manufacturing.
Define cad training and explain its benefits.?
cad software is a software that will provide computer based digital format for represented 2d and 3d objects. cad training would teach you how to work the program and could be extremely helpful for engineering, design, architectural courses, and much more.
A piezo sounder is a type of electronic component that produces sound waves when an electric current is passed through it. It uses the piezoelectric effect, in which certain materials generate an electrical charge in response to mechanical stress, to generate sound. Piezo sounders are commonly used in electronic devices such as alarms, sensors, and medical equipment.
Why does not your dwg file show the preview of drawings in GstarCAD?
The reason why the DWG is not showing the preview of the drawings in GstarCAD is because GstarCAD needs to save the thumbnail. The way to save the thumbnail is Tools>Options>Open and then Save.
To use AutoCAD you need to learn the basic of commands used. To further facilitate the study it, you can learn with a friend or someone close to you who understands how to use the AutoCAD program.

What is meant by distribution transparency?
For many, it means that you provide high-levelabstractions which hide network location behind an impenetrable wall. In such a system, a process can'tknow where it is executing, even when it wants and needs to know. And in such a system, it isn't so much that networking is transparent as that it is hidden behind an opaque brick wall. More prosaically, transparent distribution means that executing on a remote CPU is a non-event, no more exceptional than executing on a particular one of the local CPUs. You may specify execution on a particular remote CPU just as you would specify execution on a particular one of the local CPUs. Similarly for accessing of remote data.
How can you install 32 bit autocad 2008 into a 64 bit windows?
When installing, Windows should automatically detect your OS and install 64-bit.
However, if it is a 32 bit disc and you are running it on a 64 bit system, it should work, yet if your computer has more than 3GB of RAM (4GB, for instance), the maximum memory that will be used on autocad is most likely 3GB.
There is no difference installing a 32 bit application on a 64 bit operating system. All 64 bit windows OS's can default to 32 bit operation.
However if you attempt to install a 64 bit program in a 32 bit system it will warn you and refuse to install.
