Why is your computer telling you out of memory at line 56 when you go into the website tmzcom?

YOU ARE NOT OUT OF MEMORY BUT IF YOUR COMPUTER IS USING OVER 640 MB OF RAM FOR EACH PAGE FILE YOU WILL HAVE A VIRTUAL MEMORY PROBLEM.

1. Start bar- control panel

2. System and security (control pannel might take you their automaticly)

3. System

4. Advanced System Settings

5. Click on the settings for performance

6. Click on the advanced tab

7. See your virtual memory? Is your paging file size bigger than 640MB? If it is, change it to 640MB.

8. Restart computer

note- this may take a couple days to a week for your system to restore but once it does, you will never see out of memory at line: 1, 2, 14,56, etc. etc. again :-)

If you are impatient, download mozilla firefox (free) and use that.

Facebook was still giving me problems after I fixed my RAM, but not as bad, so you might want to stay off it for awhile. I use it everyday now.

Delete cookies and cache to make your internet run faster. Download internet explorer 9 (also free)

I recommend not using facebook for this time, it was giving me problems but not nearly as bad. The message is gone now and I am able to use facebook.

Also delete cookies and cache for faster internet, and download Internet Explorer 9.

Differentiate between RAM buffering and server software?

RAM buffering is extra RAM available to your computer which may or may not involve being connected to a network. Server Software is the programs or software that is run on the part of the network that controls the network

What chip has Memory that is older and has a row of legs down each side of the chip?

The package you are talking about is called a Dual Inline Package (DIP), but this package has been (and still is) used for many other chips than just memory chips.

Modern memory modules are often packaged in a Dual Inline Module (DIM), a small printed circuit board with contacts on both sides and several Flat-Pack or Surface Mount memory chips soldered to the board.

There are many packages that have been used in the past and/or are now being used in the present for memory chips.

Why is it that when you save images on your memory card they still appear in your phone's photo and image memory?

Because maybe your phone is showing photos and data located entierly on the phone! Like if its showing you data from your device and on your memory card.

I have an external hard drive but i don't have the disk to download the program?

These days the software associated with an external hard drive is already loaded on the drive itself, and a CD-ROM is not included in the package. For example, a PC backup application. An alternative is to go online to search for driver software to download - starting with the home page of the hardware's manufacturer.

How many bits are in a byte in a computer?

There are 8 bits in a byte.

People use a lowercase 'b' to mean "bits" and an uppercase "B" to mean bytes. So if a hard drive has 500GB, that's giga-bytes. But if a network cable lists its speed as 10Mbps, that means 10 mega-bits per second.

Are rams dangerous?

Yes, and if you have some in your computer you need to remove it immediately.

Why is it important to buy lots of RAM when shopping for a new computer?

It largely depends on what you'll be doing, if you're going to be doing tasks such as Adobe Creative Suit, then yes, lots of RAM is usually important. On the other hand, web browsing requires much less ram. It all depends on how heavy the activity on your computer is going to be, and what you will be doing, and depending on that your RAM should be around 4-20 gig's.

What is UtRAM?

Uni-transistor random access memory(UtRAM)

Is ram a removable storage or startionary storage?

RAM (random access memory) is a type of removable storage. A hard drive, on the other hand, is stationary storage.

Where does any data stored on the computer go or what form does it take when it is permanently deleted from the computer's memory?

When you delete a file from the trash bin, the data is still there for the file but the reference to the file (the area on the storage device that shows where all the files are) is deleted. You can permanently delete a file by using a program, such as Eraser (http://www.tolvanen.com/eraser/) that writes random data where the file was.

What is least recently used page replacement algorithm?

Least recently used page algorithm simply says that while replacing a page from memory we should choose that page which has been used least in the recent time.

Suppose we have a reference string 4,0,4,3,6,8. Now suppose memory has a capacity to hold at most four page at a time.Suppose it is holding page 4,0,3,6.While accessing page 8 a page fault will occur as it is not in the memory. So we have to replace a page from the memory so that a new page ie page 8 can be brought in the memory. Now according to LRU algorithm we have to replace that page which has been used least in the recent time.We look at the reference string and find that it is page 0 which has been used least recently so we will choose page 0 for replacing it with page 8.So now we will have page 4,8,3,6 in the memory.

Can you use 184 pin ddr ram when the original ram is 92 pin?

No way!,184 mem chip is notched to fit ONLY a like notched motherboard slot.Totally bad idea.

How do you lower physical memory usage?

You can lower the physical memory (RAM) usage by running less applications as much as you can. Stop the applications from running in windows start up. Close the applications and services which you are not using. Increase the virtual memory of the system as it will act same as physical RAM. Here are few steps to stop the applications running at start up:

- Go to Run and type in msconfig

- Go to the Services tab and uncheck all services that you know you don't need (becareful dont uncheck the services you are not familiar with)

- Go to the Startup tab and uncheck any startup items you don't need.

- Hit OK and reboot.

What are three considerations when choosing memory for your computer?

The frequency level of your motherboard should be large enough to runÊa standardÊRAM. Its manufacturer should be a reliable company that has shown a history of manufacturing RAM for computers. Size level should be at least 4GB for computers that run a lot of graphics.

What is Tolerance-fading memory?

It is a condition with little or poor tolerance for background sounds
