There is a computer that controls the X-ray -- a form of electromagnetic radiation. There was a computer that came out from toymaker Coleco. It had everything an owner would want. It included a tape drive and a printer. The thing was, when it was turned on, (everytime), a surge of electromagnetic energy would erase any data on the media that was left in the drive. I am not an expert on them but my advice is to stay from them.

WINDOWS OS:

Open the document you want to fax, then select File > Print.

In the print dialog box, make sure that your printer Fax Driver is selected (for example, [printer name] Fax Driver], then click Properties or Preferences.

Select a paper size (letter or A4) from the drop-down menu, then select a resolution and orientation as needed.

Enter the fax number in the Enter Fax Number field, then click OK.

Click OK to send the fax.

MAC OS:

Open the document you want to fax, then select File > Print.

Expand the print dialog box, if necessary.

Select Fax Options from the drop-down menu.

Select a paper size (letter or A4) from the drop-down menu, then select an orientation as needed.

Check the Send as Fax check box, then enter the fax number in the To field.

Select a fax quality (Standard or Best).

Click Print

To receive a fax:

Load plain paper into the printer.

Press Auto Answer to receive incoming faxes.

NOTE: If the Auto Answer LED is illuminated, the printer automatically receives incoming faxes.
