Look for comments to see if anyone report that it has a virus, or if you downloaded it already, get Malwarebytes then do a full scan of your computer.

No. There really is no way for a person playing a PS2 online to get a virus. Remember PC viruses spread by email, computer .exe files, and other various methods. When you login to an independent game server, you are never downloading anything except a users list. Everything else is read write off the game cd. This includes tracks, levels, maps, etc. Also note, there is no real reason for someome to initiate a virus via a PS2. You can't send information at your choosing from a PS2 anyway. Only thing you send out is a login ID to a server which indentifies you being on the server.

Recently, rumors have begun to surface on Facebook that claim the game Farmville implants a Trojan virus onto its users computers. This has been proven to be one of the many Internet hoaxes that circulate from time to time. Farmville is completely safe to play.

Unless someone finds a way to hack the game and input millions of viruses and if so the creators will close the game down from anyone who wants to play and delete all the viruses that individual person inputed.

First of all, viruses cant be deleted. Viruses keep spreading. Also 1,000,000 players dropped to 10,000. Also in other Kings Isle games, they don't close down the game. All they care is to make money. If there was a virus and they cared, they would have deleted the game and put a new one like World of Tanks. (•_•)

First of all, viruses CAN be deleted. If it's a program, just delete it. If it's running in memory, stop it first, and then delete it. I'm not saying it's easy, just that it is not impossible.

Second, don't say stupid things online unless you can back them up. To claim that it is impossible to change the 1s and 0s of a virus program to all 0s or all 1s is completely stupid, and there is no way you could ever back that up.

My reply is as follows: Yes. If you use Mediafire.com. I was able to download Minecraft 1.2.5 for free, no viruses, no spyware, no nothing, no worries. Stay away from Softonic because I've used it before and you can't really download bugger all. You can also use The Pirate Bay, which is worth waiting a millennium for BitTorrent or uTorrent to download onto the system and trying to figure out how to get the bloody thing to work. You're better off with Mediafire downloads.

I will have to retcon what you said there, as Mediafire is crawling with viruses and Trojans. And BitTorrent/uTorrent doesn't take ages to download, it depends on who uploads it and what internet you have.

If you pay for minecraft on minecraft's official website, then it won't download any viruses. Servers are also safe to go on, but mods for minecraft can prove difficult. Even though forge should be safe, you can't guarantee that you won't get a virus, even on a mac. The worst offenders are the mods themselves though. You just have to find out from someone else if that particular mod is safe, and if you don't have 100% confidence, then don't do it. Of course, if you really want to you can, but you always run the risk of a virus. AVG 2015 free is a good way of checking for viruses, and if you have any, burn all your important files on a backup disk, upload them to a cloud, and try to reset your computer, or just pay for an antivirus.

You try to keep it clean rather than letting it get dirty, dusty, etc. Air is the best method to remove surface dust. It can be compressed in a can or a type of blower

Well like all things some do and some don't. Now some mmorpgs that ask for an e-mail might give you spam. And you should google drive by download for info pretaining to things that download with out your permission
