Nowadays, the Illuminati is considered to be a group of individuals (unknown and unproven) who supposedly are a part of the New World Order, purportedly attempting to control world politics and economics. This "Illuminati" appear to be purely fictional, the product of the imagination of conspiracy theorists. Not one person this side of 1784 is known and proven (in a court of law or otherwise) to be a part of any "Illuminati" organization.

There have been conspiracy theories about the moon landing since the early 1970s, with a small group of people insisting the entire event was fake, staged by NASA to give Russia the impression we won the space race. Such doubts are not entirely surprising-- no matter which new scientific discoveries are announced, there are always some people who refuse to accept them, even if there seem to be a wide array of proofs. In this case, despite solid evidence that the moon landing was quite real, there are still people who have remained unconvinced. They base their skepticism on doubts about anything the government says, and doubts about whether it is even possible to land on the moon. I thought I had heard just about everything until this stinkbug conspiracy debacle. From what I have been able to dig up, the stinkbugs are said to be sent by the Chinese to undermine US manufacturing and agriculture, leaving the market wide-open to Chinese goods. Of course, I thought the market was already saturated with goods from China, but maybe I was wrong. Whether this is a genuine conspiracy I have no idea, the message is we can't trust the Chinese and we should be very glad Raid is made in the good old USA.
