We can only speculate, and different people may have different opinions. To understand the true motive, you would have to inquire of He who placed those stars in those particular places in the sky. Or else consult the ancient individuals who looked at that group of stars, decided what it looked like to them, and gave it the name Sagittarius.

In ancient times, the constellation was considered a small group of stars withinCentaurus, and was thought to have been an animal killed, on behalf of Centaurus. It was not separated from Centaurus until Hipparchus named it Therion (meaning beast) in the 200s BC. No particular animal was associated with it until the Latin translation of Ptolemy's work identified it with the wolf.

Northern Hemisphere observers can see it above the southern horizon during the summer (winter months for the Southern Hemispere) months of June through August and often into early September.

People with a Gemini personality are considered wishy-washy for the simple fact that they are duel personalities. The constellation itself is made up of the two stars Castor and Pollux. This constellation is also an air sign, which thrives on communications of all type.

Gemini is made up of many, many stars - each one having it's own relative distance form Earth. It only looks like Gemini from our perspective... in another solar system, you wouldn't recognize it.
