Like being right or left handed, each individual has an eye that is the 'normal one' to use for certain things. It is very easy to determine. Hold up your finger and put it 'on' something at a distance. Close your right eye and see if your finger is still 'on' the item. If it is, you are left eye dominant. If you close your left eye and it is still on the item, you are right eye dominant. The only time that this has been a factor to me is when shooting a pistol. Knowing this improved my score at the firing range, because I would aim with my dominant left eye, rather than what I thought was normal, using my right.

Yes, this is probably "implantation bleeding", which occurs right before or when your period would be due. This is where the egg implants into the wall of the uterus. It should only be spotting and very light bleeding. If you know for sure that you are pregnant and the bleeding goes on for several days or is like a normal period or heavier you should go to see your doctor to make sure everything is ok.

There a number of concerns: * The human mouth is often filled with bacteria. Of some of these should get into the eye, it could contaminate the contact lens and cause problems later on. * Small particles of blood, tooth, bone and other items could get under the lens and cause damage to the eye. * The lens could dry out during the process and pop out or cause problems. * The anesthetic could aggrivate the above issues as the eye could be affected and not feeling pain could cause more damage before it was noticed and corrected.

It depends on the solution you are using. Most solutions are "Saline", which is basically salt water and safe to put into your eye. Some brands offer "Cleaning" solutions and "Soaking" solutions as a system for cleaning your contacts better; in this case it is common that the cleaning solution may not be safe for your eye. Read the packaging information on your solution(s) for proper usage.

The cleaning system that I fell in love with was "Clean Care". It comes with a special contact cleaning case and a Hydrogen Peroxide solution, which as it is will burn the hell out of your eyes. You fill the vial and put the contacts into it, and a chemical reaction caused by the vial make bubbles that scrub your contacts for you so they get incredibly clean and you don't run the risk of accidentally tearing them. Once the chemical reaction is completed (6 hours), all that's left of the solution is regular saline solution. I've been using this brand for 8, maybe 10 months now and my contacts have never felt better! I wait the full 6 hours (somtimes longer) each and have never felt any stinging when I put them in.

You can but you shouldn't. To stay healthy your eyes need access to fresh air. Contact lenses are designed to let air through but they should be removed daily to give your eyes a chance to rest. When your eyes are shut and you have contacts on, you get less air to your eyes. If you accidentally fall asleep wearing contacts, and everybody does, remove them when you wake up, clean them, and then let your eyes rest for a few hours before wearing them again. I suppose that if you were an emergency worker who had to wake up and be able to see instantly, you could put your contacts in just before sleeping. In this case you should be careful to limit the total number of hours that you wear contacts in any day.

If you always sleep with your lenses in you are more at risk of developing a bacterial eye infection.

Assuming you meant -19.00, then it's very hard to approximate your vision using the 20/something scale. If I had to guess though, it would be something ridiculous, like 20/10,000, maybe even worse. Again, it is really not practical to use the 20/20 scale once your Rx goes over about -10.00
