If the inmate is going to be transferred, use the same SNP number they had at county. Use the SPN number they had in Harris County.

Are parole officers required to wear uniforms?

Typically, no. Parole officers are not law enforcement officers and do not have any of the same powers. While they have responsibility for the offenders on their case load, they cannot themselves return them to prison or incarceration. Additionally, they are required as part of their job to move about in public. many do not want to attract undue attention, or to make their presence known to would be parole violators, so uniforms would be a disadvantage.

DSP Date for an Inmate?

The DSP date, or Date of Scheduled Parole, for an inmate refers to the date on which they are eligible for release on parole, contingent upon good behavior and meeting specific criteria set by the correctional facility or parole board. This date can vary based on the inmate's sentence, behavior while incarcerated, and any applicable laws or regulations. It is important to note that the DSP date is not a guaranteed release date, as it may change due to various factors, including disciplinary actions or legal adjustments. For precise information, one should consult the specific correctional facility or relevant legal authorities.

Is a warrant issued to an inmate currently in prison the same as a detainer?

A detainer is a request from another jurisdiction asking that they notify that jurisdiction that the person is about to be released. Detainer's are often the result of a warrant that has been issued for that inmate. If the warrant is relatively minor, then the detainer may not actually be issued. And not all detainers are the result of warrants: there could be immigration detainers or detainers from probation and parole, asking the prison to let them know when the person will be released because that inmate is supposed to report to probation once he has been released.

What can you do about your probation officer treating you unfairly And Lying to the Judge to get you In Trouble?

I'm going to honest. To begin with - you are at a big disadvantage. These agencies are accustomed to hearing complaints about their officers all the time, usually done by the probationer in an attempt to force the PO to ease up on them. You can approach the court or the parole and probation agency and ask to be placed under someone else's supervision, but don't hold too much hope of it happening. Study the papers that give you the conditions of your release and follow them like they were the Bible, and you should be okay. Let's face it, 'out' on probation sure beats 'inside' behind bars... which is where you COULD be.

Tragically YES. Jane is at CIW in California serving a 25 to Life sentence. She has another motion coming up to try once again to get the rope tested. Look for her Twitter account.

How do you go about getting married to someone in jail?

The way you marry someone in jail is simple. You must be legal age, you must have the proper documents, a coordinator, a prison usually has a list of approved pastors to chose from, a witness to view the marriage, the proper costs, and of coarse planning and what not. This my change depending on the type of Jail, location, and type of crime the person committed. The chaplain and other prison personnel may help you as well.

Though if you really love each other, you may want to wait till the prison sentence is over, though it depend on how long it's for and the situation.
