Well it all depends on how he stares at you, if he looks at you like all he wants to do is be with you and he has that twinkle in his eyes and especially since he is shy with you I would totally have to say he likes you. If he's never with you and when you guys are together he stares it's probably because he wants to remember your face when you're not with him he wants to have a picture of you in his mind for when he misses you. Also giggling at jokes and saying things like "Oh you" or "You joker" might help. Just don't be like this all of a sudden, become gradually more like this and he'll take notice and not be scared away. well..... that's a hard one but heres what i would do. i would ask him if he liked you or was just bein a playa then if the guy likes you and if the other girl is your friend dont go out with the guy it will just cause more drama and u may loose ur friend and the boy. but if you want to tell for sure get to know him better and if all else fails just ask him and say you want the truth.
When you get that feeling like everything around you is fading away and it is just you and him left. Then your whole body gets this tingling feeling and heart starts to beat really fast. Your knees start to weaken so he has to hold you closer and every muscle in your body is frozen. That kiss usually doesn't happen but that is a real kiss.
