Is salting a deer hide sufficient?
Yes it will dry out and preserve the hide. They will rot if not taken proper care of.
YES. All my leaves on my young (planted 4/2019) LSU fig tree were recently chewed off overnight. I found deer hoofprints around it. The tree is still alive and the main branches are fine. I surrounded the tree with 4' tall dogwire with lower area chicken wire too! I attached pieces o my hair (taken from hairbrush) to it as the human scent is supposed to be a deterrent. I live in wooded area, and always see deer. Having a garden is futile.
No. They more or less bounce when they need to get somewhere quick (but not too fast) or just walk or step. They're not heavy animals so they don't lumber like a larger-bodied animal like a buffalo or bull might lumber.

How do you get deer to like you?
For their sake, you don't want to do that. Think what will happen when deer season opens and deer who like you approach anyone who shows up.
That usually depends on the person that sees the deer and where the deer is. If the deer is in a farmers field eating his/her crops, then yes the deer would be considered a pest. If the deer was in your yard, it could be considered a pest. This is possible, because if you lived in a town/city, it may cause a mess in your yard. (possibly due to eating plants, pooping in your yard, etc.) However if you lived out of town (ex. in the bush), it may not be considered a pest. Yes it would probably eat some of the leaves from the trees/bushes, but it isn't eating your crops or wrecking your small lawn. Like I said before it all depends on the person and where the deer is.
How Do you take care of a baby deer?
It's actually illegal to do this in many areas without specific permits. You should contact your local wildlife service office to find out whether or not it's allowed. If it is, they can give you detailed instructions for the species native to your area. They'll also probably supervise you to make sure you're not raising it as a pet... the goal is to release it back into the wild, and a deer that has come to associate humans with comfort and food will almost certainly get shot next hunting season.
Deer will attack if you get too close, and they will take your gun. So be careful around them nasty buggers.
Bucks use antlers as a means to show other bucks they are stronger and bigger than them, and use them to attract does to mate. Deer are not the only species to have antlers; moose, elk, reindeer and caribou also have antlers that are grown and used in the same way. Pronghorns, though not a part of the deer species, also regrow their "antlers" (actually called horns) every year.

"Deer" is a category of animals, not a single species. Some species (e.g. the White-tailed deer mentioned below and the Mule deer) are classified as "Least Concern" by the IUCR (which is as close as the IUCR ever gets to saying "those things? endangered? don't make me laugh"), though others such as the Hog deer are classified as endangered.
Hunting animals does not mean they are endangered..The whitetailed deer, is more plentiful than ever, with a total North American population of nearly 40 million.
