I used sea salt soaks on my pulled tooth with great results. You want to get the non iodine sea salt. Mix it in some warm water till it tastes like tears. (pretty weak) Then use it to gently swish around the hole. You can also hold it on the hole. Do not swollow. You can also rinse with some water after if you like. Be sure that you don't use a straw to drink with for a few days. This is what caused mine to start to get infected, but the sea salt cleared it right up.

Apparently getting needles at the dentist really doesnt hurt at all! If your getting teeth pulled they will most likely give you an injection in your gum. Yes, it looks like you would be in alot of pain or its sounds like you would be in lots pain but no that much! On a scale from 1 to ten it would most likely occur as 7. Seven is not that bad. When you get the needles STAY CALM!!Trust me! It will feel like a pinch.The pinch pain lasts five seconds. If you don't get the numbing gel on your gum where the needle will be placed, it will hurt and the scale would be 2 from 1 to 10. So if you're not sure of getting that gel just ask your dentist. And the pain only feels like a long nail(finger nail) that's a bit sharp touching and digging into your gum for 1 second. I've been through it so I know! BUT STAY CALM! OKAY!? That's more important. Oh and ask for the happy gas! It so helps more too! For that scale it would turn out as 5. So stay calm.!

P.S. The numbing gell will leave a nasty taste in your mouth for a while. It should be near gone by the end of the day (You'll taste it sometimes if you burp.) I would know, I just got it done.

Only if you want to take the risk and pain of dry sockets. Even if you have gauze over the open sockets you are still sucking in air and drawing that smoke and air into the sockets. Think about it. Gauze is not a solid bandage. It is absorbent to prevent bleeding but still allow a minimum amount of air to promote healing. When you are dragging on a cigarette you are increasing the volume of air to the at risk area drying up what the gauze is trying to keep moist for the purpose of healing. I would recommend strongly against it.

One of the main reasons Dentists pull wisdom teeth is due to the difficulty in reaching them while brushing. Most people can not reach them to properly clean them. If you are experiencing pain I would suggest seeing your dentist. It is probably either due to tooth decay in the area most difficult to access with a toothbrush or inflammation of the gum tissue behind the teeth themselves.

The wisdom teeth are your third set of molars, so they are located in the back of your mouth. You do not have to get them removed if they are alligned well and healthy. Most people do get them removed because they are usually alligned wrong and painful.

it depends on what company or business you work for but most of the time no they dont work on weekends only monday through friday usually 7-5pm
