Your wisdom teeth will most likely make your other teeth crooked if they are impacted and growing sideways in your mouth..they also make it harder to clean the teeth that they are impacted into (your molars) Get them pulled out before this becomes a bigger problem An impacted wisdom tooth is very painful and often only continues with brief periods of relief from the pain by a couple months. You do not want to end up in the emergency room over this which will charge you a pretty penny and be starving at the same time because its impossble to eat your in so much pain. If your wisdom teeth are pulled what will happen is that the front teeth will be able to space out in the front by filling up the space that was once the crowded wisdom teeth in the back. This should always be done by a professional or at the very least a dental school because clinics that just pull teeth can often make mistakes like breaking teeth which lead to infections.

What is a natural remedy for dry socket?
There's not much you can do at home to remedy a dry socket. Dentists and oral surgeons need to repack the socket with a medicated dressing that helps with the pain and infection, but it doesn't speed up the healing process much. They need to heal on their own. So see your dentist if you have a dry socket or suspect one due to extreme pain.... if you must wait, rinse your mouth gently with salt water to keep the area clean and try not to focus on the pain.
When you have your wisdom teeth extracted should you keep your head up or lie down?
You're thinking of a nose bleed. If you are bleeding a bit the dentist should have given you gauze to put pressure on the gum to stop the bleeding. Leave your head up and if you have to lay down prop your head up with a couple of pillows so the blood doesn't run into your stomach. Also rinse your mouth with warm salt water 2 - 4 times a day.
The term refers to a project being undertaken by a dozen or so states to compare and analyze together claims data generated under Medicare and Medicaid programs. The purpose is to uncover fraud and abuse within the programs that went unseen when the programs were examined separately.
No. This would be not only be insurance fraud but would also endanger the license of the dentist involved. Plus if the insurance company ever found out about such a thing, the Dental Practice would have to close down, because no insurance company would contract with someone like that, ever again. If the State Licensing Division didn't revoke the Dentist's license, the insurance carriers no longer processing claims from this business would drive them out of business. The Dentist would have to start working at the 7-11 Store. Crooks are not Professionals.

What options does a 17-year-old with huge front teeth and a big gap between them have?
Your option would be to go to a dental surgeon to have then put some braces on. They do have braces that you can't see.
I don't know what others think, but I think they are quiet fashionable, atleast at the time I had them on which was about 4-5 years ago when I was 14 or 15. I loved my braces. And my cousin got her braces done at 19 so I don't know what you are worried about.
I'm going through that same problem and i think it doent matter your age.
I am 18 years old and just resently closed my gap using www.gapinmyteeth.com. You wear what looks like a small rubber band around your front teeth. The band is streached out so it pulls on your teeth. I had a large gap and it closed after about a month.
I had 3 gaps between my front teeth and I used teeth makeover bands and they've closed up. My friend used them too, but when he leaves the bands off for a couple of weeks, the teeth start to gap again. I think it's worth it, though. I don't mind putting them back on at night to not have to spend thousands of dollars to get the gap fixed permanently. It's not even really permanent, the veneers come out in like 7 years anyway. anyway, the address is teethmakeover.com if you wanna go see 'em.. I like them better than teeth effect, teeth effect took -forever- to ship my bands
My son used these bands and then needed an operation to remove 2 bands that had gone up under his gums, restricting the blood and effecively killing the tooth root , it was very painfull and nobody knew what was happening for weeks, they thought it was just general gum issues, he is lucky to have kept his front teeth but 4 years later still has major probelms with his gums and needs another operation to remove some gum, as your gum doesn't regrow once damaged, he may lose his teeth, he is only 19years old. THESE BANDS ARE NOT SAFE. we did this through our orthodontist, but will be pursuing a complaint procedure.
What if they forgot to remove a stitch from a wisdom teeth extraction?
Hi, It depends on what type of stitches your surgeon has used. Most surgeons use disolvable threads, I had mine which was a normal thread hence it dissolved on its own. So nothing to worry... if you still see stitches after two weeks its best to have em removed by the same surgeon. Normally your surgeon will recommend removal during one of your post surgical visits.
Good Luck..!
CD
PS Dont forget to visit your surgeon once in three days for dressing. it pays..
Can you get easily dehydrated after having wisdom teeth removed?
The answer is yes. If you are not consuming liquids or attempting to eat soft foods you can get dehydrated. I got my wisdom teeth out yesterday and I havent been drinking liquids like I should. I felt really weak and was having chest pains probably due to not having any nourishment for my body. I then went to the store drank two ensure and pedialyte and ate some applesauce and I feel a lot better! It is very important for you to stay hydrated after getting your wisdom teeth removed. Speeds up the healing process too!
Are you allowed to eat mac and cheese three days after getting your wisdom teeth removed?
You should be safe. It's relatively soft, but again, try to keep from chewing near the extraction sites and chew slowly and lightly. Don't forget to rinse with salt water after - good luck!
