Your option would be to go to a dental surgeon to have then put some braces on. They do have braces that you can't see.

I don't know what others think, but I think they are quiet fashionable, atleast at the time I had them on which was about 4-5 years ago when I was 14 or 15. I loved my braces. And my cousin got her braces done at 19 so I don't know what you are worried about.

I am 18 years old and just resently closed my gap using www.gapinmyteeth.com. You wear what looks like a small rubber band around your front teeth. The band is streached out so it pulls on your teeth. I had a large gap and it closed after about a month.

I had 3 gaps between my front teeth and I used teeth makeover bands and they've closed up. My friend used them too, but when he leaves the bands off for a couple of weeks, the teeth start to gap again. I think it's worth it, though. My son used these bands and then needed an operation to remove 2 bands that had gone up under his gums, restricting the blood and effecively killing the tooth root , it was very painfull and nobody knew what was happening for weeks, they thought it was just general gum issues, he is lucky to have kept his front teeth but 4 years later still has major probelms with his gums and needs another operation to remove some gum, as your gum doesn't regrow once damaged, he may lose his teeth, he is only 19years old. THESE BANDS ARE NOT SAFE. we did this through our orthodontist, but will be pursuing a complaint procedure.

Hi, It depends on what type of stitches your surgeon has used. Most surgeons use disolvable threads, I had mine which was a normal thread hence it dissolved on its own. So nothing to worry... if you still see stitches after two weeks its best to have em removed by the same surgeon. Normally your surgeon will recommend removal during one of your post surgical visits.

The answer is yes. If you are not consuming liquids or attempting to eat soft foods you can get dehydrated. I got my wisdom teeth out yesterday and I havent been drinking liquids like I should. I felt really weak and was having chest pains probably due to not having any nourishment for my body. I then went to the store drank two ensure and pedialyte and ate some applesauce and I feel a lot better! It is very important for you to stay hydrated after getting your wisdom teeth removed. Speeds up the healing process too!

You should be safe. It's relatively soft, but again, try to keep from chewing near the extraction sites and chew slowly and lightly. Don't forget to rinse with salt water after - good luck!

Most hospitals do NOT have an emergency dentist on staff to deal with urgent dental issues. Urgent dental care is normally handled through your regular dentist. Most dental practices have an "after hours" line so that if you require emergency dental care outside of regular office hours, someone will be available to answer your call and schedule a quick appointment for you.
