What you do not like about the Journey to the Center of the Earth?

I am familiar with the book and the l959 movie with Arlene Dahl. Ok the movie had maybe too much incidental comedy that was not part of the plot. There were sight gags with a Bagpipe Band parading around the lost-in-thought scientist type, and a few others. Pat Boone was miscast as the explorer"s aide. There was no reason for songs such as heart in the highlands. Other than that, for Verne, relatively little gadgetry was used and the Dinosaurs seemed plausible. The only thing I really did not like about the movie was the rather unwarranted tack-on of songs and sight-gags more redolent of a musical comedy than a science fiction drama. Plot line was inherently slow-paced ( specialized flashlights and breathing masks- the latter used sparingly) were the only gadgets- unless you count camping equipment, for it"s type, fine . suspense was handled well I kept guessing- How are they going to get out of caverns? well the answer will suprise you. There is some humor in the escape method- and many a movie actress would approve. Good film.

Why was dinosaurs instinct?

There are many theories, but no one knows for sure. Some scientists believe massive climate changes, such as extreme heat or extreme cold cause the dinosaurs to die out. The most popular reason, however, is the meteor theory. A great number of a scientists say that a giant meteor struck the Earth during the dinosaur ages, and wiped them all out. The crash supposedly threw so much dust and ash into the air, it took a very long time to settle. The particles in the air blocked a significant amount of sunlight to Earth. Because of this, many plants died which, in turn, caused a catastrophic affect on the herbivore dinosaurs and then the carnivores and omnivores. They say that the meteor that caused the extinction of the dinosaurs caused the Chicxulub Crater in Mexico. This theory is so popular because it is supported most by geographical evidence. However, it is still not supported by enough evidence to say that this theory is 100% what happened. I, personally, do not think they will ever solve the dinosaur extinction mystery. Hope this helps!

Why dinousor died?

Nobody really knows but there are many theories. There is the mammal theory (in which the mammals take over), the plant and vegetation theory (in which new plant grow) and many more. The most famous one is probably the asteroid theory.

Why dont dinosaurs live today?

No one can fully predict the effect on an ecosystem if Dinosaurs were reintroduced.

Some small species might be able to, however none of the large species would survive due to a lack of oxygen. There is far less of it today then there was when the dinosaurs lived.

What was the nicest dinosaur?

None of them would likely have made good pets. Though highly advanced for reptiles, dinosausr still didn't have the kind of brains that make for affectionate behaviour. Herpetophiles (people who have reptile pets) say that alligators are "sweeter" than crocodiles, but by that they just mean less aggressive.

There's evidence that at least some dinosaurs cared for their young.
