So when Eve and Wall-E find the little plant growing in the ground, this is the sign the humans were waiting for-- the sign that means the earth is once again able to support life. It means the humans can come home.

The deal for Disney to acquire Marvel has not yet gone through; they are hoping it will be completed by the end of 2009 or early 2010. What Disney may do with the Marvel characters can only be determined at that time, although currently Disney's XD channel (formerly Toon Disney) shows a number of Marvel shows, such as X-Men Evolution and Spiderman. Disney also owns the rights to Batman: The Animated Series, which is a DC Comics property (rival of Marvel). I would assume that Disney theme parks will start to have Marvel rides and characters. Perhaps Hulk Mountain or something.

3. Find an agent.

4. Your agent will hook you up with all sorts of casting calls. Find the one that's right for you, and go to it.

AT THE AUDITION...

1. When you're reading your script, read it at a good pace, not to slow and not to fast. Don't repeat a word, phrase or sentence if you mess up. Just keep going. Talk loud enough, but not too loud. Keep good eye contact, too.

2. If you do good, you will get a call back. A call back is when they will call you and you go back to the audition and they determine if you are a good enough actor/actress to be on Disney.

PIXAR uses their own software to create and animate 3D models. They use very powerful computers to create them and then "render" them (rendering is a process where a computer does millions of mathematical equations to simulate their model as best as possible). All movies are just still pictures moving in fast motions. These pictures are called frames. There are about a trillion frames in a 2 hour movie.

It takes about 1-90 hours to just render one frame. Multiply that by....a lot...I could say.

Animation/visual effect studios use what's called a "Render Farm", which is a separate group of computers used only for rendering shots, which dramatically speeds up the process. When an animator finishes his shot, he sends it off to those computers to get rendered, and while that's happening, he can begin to work on the next shot.

EDIT: 24 frames per second is the normal motion picture speed that we see with film. A 2 hour or 120 minute movie would only be about 173,000 frames, not a trillion.... LOL

Walt Disney never wrote any books, at least none that were published.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to find instructions for crocheting a Mickey Mouse doll. The reason being is that Mickey Mouse is covered by copyright laws or trademark laws, with Disney Productions (or some-such). From what I understand, Disney goes after most anyone who publishes instructions for a Character owned by Disney.

I remember reading about this somewhere (I can't specifically remember). Disney doesn't want poorly made copies of their famous characters out in the public, to ruin the brand that they have created. Sorta' makes sense from a business sort of view.

However, I have found places which sell copies of Disney characters ready to be cross-stitched. I'm not sure how the sellers are "getting away" with doing this, my personal guess would be that Disney hasn't gone looking for this in a while, so the sellers (specifically), haven't been told to "cease and desist."

I would say the best way you could get a pattern for a Mickey Mouse would be to design it yourself, and make it for your personal use.
