Pit bulls were created in the early 1800's after bear/bull baiting was made illegal in Europe. Since spectators could no longer watch Bulldogs fight bears and bulls, they crossed Bulldogs with Terriers to create what we now know as the "pit bull." These dogs were created to fight other dogs for sport.

compare how he/she normally behaves to how she/he is behaving now. aggressive barking when unexpected or vicious biting causing blood to come out of the veins or arteries would be aggression. if he/she is showing the whites of his/her eyes when you play with her she is very bored and needs more attention. though that can be a sign of happiness. if you are afraid of your dog consult your vet. i am very passionate to dogs and i would recommend that you don't try to get your dog put down because it is extremely cruel. also, if your vet says you have to have it put down, say "NO, I'LL SEND IT TO A RESCUE HOME" and then do. if you love your dog, which i do, keep it in a safe, detained area until you are happy that the dog has calmed down. never assume a dog is going aggressive because it bites you once, that could just be a love bite or a sign of affection. i hope i helped!

Well, my dog goes to the salt watered bay with us sometimes and he drinks salt water. He laps it up but then he spits it out cause it doesn't taste good. I wouldn't think it would be good for them.

They usally go through heat after about 1 year. It's sorta like their periods. But they could go through it any time after that if they are not spayed. If you're dog has been spayed and is still going through heats then you sshould contact your vet as soo nas possible. If your dog is still very young and seams to have heats like symptoms, such as bleeding and swelling, then you should contact your vet immeadiatly. Does he have a place to poop at your home? It could be because he does not want to poop at your home and has to poop when you walk him. Another reason could be because he is "marking his spot." Dogs do this often. They poop and it's like a message to other dogs. You may want to check that his poop is not diaheria, and regular poop. If it is diaheria, then it is a problem.

Styptic powder, gel, liquid, or a styptic pencil can be used to stop bleeding when a nail is quicked. It can be purchased at most pet stores. Styptic pencils can be found in stores in the area where you find shaving supplies as they are used to stop bleeding when you nick yourself shaving.

give your dog hydrogen peroxide it will make them throw up whats left to get it out of there body. give them one cap full. or call your vet if it gets worse.
