What is the breeding age for male Chinese crested dog?

When considering breeding, wait till your dog is AT LEAST 15months old for small breeds and 20months for large breeds.

You want your dog to be %100 physically and emotionally mature (you will be able to tell when they are calmer and a little less playful IF you know your dog) before breeding.

If your dog is 18months old and isn't emotionally mature, then do not breed him.

However, just because your dog seems mature at 1year, that DOES NOT mean you still breed him or her.

If a female dog is breeding what medication can you give her so she would not breed?

A dog you have seen being bred (and within 36hours) can be brought the vet and possibly treated with a medication that will prevent the eggs to 'nest'.

If your boyfriend has a half brother and a half sister that do not seem to be able to have children should you be concerned that you may not be able to conceive?

Infertility is not hereditary. Obviously if someone was infertile, there would be no offspring to pass on their defunct genes to! However a low-sperm count could be genetic.

There is also some medications that women have innocently taken in past that have caused their offspring to have difficulties - such has an anti-morning sickness drug from the 60's caused many girls to be born with an incomplete cervix.

There is no medical reason I can think of that would cause both male and female offspring to be infertile. It could be just a coincidence his siblings are having difficulties conceiving. And presumably your b'f is quite a different age from his siblings and from a different relationship, this means that their physical environment was different growing up. This would rule out an environmental problem (ie exposure to radiation).

I would not worry too much about it, but if you are trying to conceive and are having difficulties, it would be a valid point to ponder.

Why wont a male dog breed with a female dog who's in heat he licks her when she backs up and moves her tail out of the way then he walks away what now?

There are two possible answers to this question. The first, being the male may be too young and inexperienced to complete the task. The other answer lies in the fact that males know when the female is ready to mate. She may "flag" (moving her tail to one side) but her eggs are not prepared to accept the sperm. Experienced or "proven studs" are able to detect the exact time during the heat cycle for which the mating will prove successful, therefore, resulting in puppies. My suggestion is to separate the male from the female several times daily over a seven day period after the discharge is no longer pink. When reintroduced, the male will most likely mount the female promptly and attempt to mate. If she flags and stands still for him, (without growling) and he is mature (and correct alignment is the same), he will be able to enter correctly and lock. If he is unable to line up or there remains too much distance between them, human assistance may be used by holding the female and pulling the male closer to her as he thrusts. Additional assistance may be needed in some cases involving human hand placement although this method often causes an inexperienced male to ejaculate prematurely.

What is wrong with your 10-year-old dog who is spotting vaginal fluid and do you need to be worried or is this common for old dogs?

It could be urine leakage that's all,, We have that problem to whee we get old. Don't worry !!!

How do you mate shih tzu?

You will need to buy a male and female shih tzu. Here are some steps to breeding: STEP 1: Adopt two shih tzus (one female and one male) STEP 2: make sure the two puppies are from two different clans because you can't mate a brother and sister shih tzu (that would be terrible!! :( STEP 3: buy them one dog house for both of them to sleep in, the mating will take place at night STEP 4: make sure they continue mating until the female get pregnant (shih tzu parents can give birth to a litter more than 1 time) HOPE THESE STEPS HELP, I USED THESE STEPS WITH MY OWN SHIH TZUS AS WELL.

Is it normal for a puppy to get hookworms?

yes it is normal so don't worry it's actually normal for puppies and kittens so dont be alarmed but the reason they get it is your kittens or puppies mother would naturally nurse their puppy or kitten but because how rich the mothers milk is the hookworms are attract to it and they try to get to the nipples but end up being sucked up by the puppies or kittens that nurse. So now your probably wondering "oh well how do they survive in a puppy or kittens belly if they have been drank?" well that's easy to answer! hookworms breath through there mouth and all but their mouth is so small it's hard to breath so they can also breath through there skin and that's a lot of ways to breath plus they adapted to the stomach aside and so they wont die. anyways back to the point hookworms will take all the nu-trance from the puppy or kittens so they will keep getting thirsty and hungry so if you get a new puppy or kitten from a breeder or a shelter when it poops look at it and examine it and put on gloves if you cant see anything and look at the poop closely and if you see a hookworm chances are you have more in your puppy or kittens belly eating what your pet eats or drinking what your pet drinks and taking it away so even if you see 1 you don't want to take the chances so as soon as you see it you should go to Walmart, PetSmart, Vet or the animal shelter and ask for Worms Away and when you give your pet food get some soft food ( can food ) and take to top off of the pill and sprinkle it on the canned food and then mix it really good! and then the next time you take you pet to go potty check the poop if you see hookworms in the poop and there not moving you've killed them but the first day you give it to your kitten or puppy in 10 more days give them it again. If they haven't died off yet in another 10 days give them another but ONLY IF YOUR PET REALLY NEEDS IT! well there you have it :)

bye!
