Is #1 dog food in the world. Its all natural containing no wheat which is bad for them. It has 70% protein and the meat is in the kibble was caught fresh not frozen with tons of artificial things. All the dog food in groceries stores or petsmart or petco have wheat in them and as little as 21% of protein at the most or less. You can only get origin in dog boutiques. It will be life changing for your dog.

gastorenteritis is a very dangerous condition and can actually cause death in deep chested dogs, i.e. dashchunds, greyhounds are just two off the top of my head. It cause`s what is called bloat! Try not to feed your dog large meals and not from the table. Also don`t "free feed", let them eat what they want for 10 to 15 minutes then put their food bowl up. You could cut a small dogs nails with human nail clippers. Larger dogs nails would not fit inside the clipper so it wouldn't work. It is better to buy a set of clippers made for dogs though. They are made specifically for dogs nails and will work better.

Every dog is different, but in my experience as a boarding facility owner we aim for a max of 2 weeks give or take. Some can go months...never tried it.

Dogs can be boarded for months is just depends on the dogs. A kennel owner has to be able to tell when a dog is beginning to lose is. Some never do. My kennel has monthly rates for dog boarding.

Frontline, Revolution and Advantage can all be safely used on cats and dogs interchangeably, as the ingredients are identical, you just need to know the correct doses.

Frontline Plus for Dogs contains (fipronil 9.8% and S-methoprene 8.8%)

Dogs are given a dose of 0.067ml of Frontline solution per kilogram of bodyweight.

ALL cats are given a set dose of 0.50ml

The Frontline Plus for cats formula contains exactly the same concentration of Fipronil (the main ingredient which kills fleas, ticks, and lice) as the Frontline Plus for dogs formula.

The only difference is the cat version contains 3% MORE of the ingredient methoprene than the dog formula.

Giving your dog a tiny 3% more methoprene will not harm it. Look up the toxixity of methoprene online for yourself and see.

Methoprene simply acts as a juvenile hormone analogue in fleas, it keeps the fleas "young". The flea larvae are prevented from completing the metamorphosis into adults and subsequently die.

Note: Not all dog and cat medications are interchangeable. You could poison your pet if you don't do your research first.

It depends on the age of the puppy. But if i were you i wouldn't put flea treatment on them until they are at least 8 weeks of age. I use frontline plus on all of my dogs and cats.

At six weeks old, the puppy should be well ready for regular food, they love good quality canned food, and dry dog food intended for puppys (smaller pieces) is also good. I normally start feeding them at three weeks so that when "mom" is tired of them, they are used to having regular food. Even at three weeks they take quite rapidly to canned food, and dry food a little later. If you plan to use mainly dry food, I suggest giving them less and less canned food slowly and make sure there is always plenty of dry food available, out for them, and they will eat it when they get hungry. By ten weeks, they should be entirely on dry if that is what you want to feed. I have to admit that I am a 'sucker" for my dogs, and always give them a mixture of canned and dry. I make the canned feeding an"event" by handing each of them the bites on a fork as I call their names (this helps to teach them their name), and then leave dry food for them to have as they are ready for it. They won't overeat on dry, but will eat just about all the canned they can get hold of, so be careful with that.

Breeds that shed are like humans that shed their hair every single day. A good brushing every single day will help to curb some of the shedding. Also use Oatmeal based dog shampoos (easy on their skin and leave a good shine to their coats) and only use a medium to low heat if you are blow drying your dog. If your home is warm enough towel dry your dog and let the air dry their skin and give it a rest from any blow drying. If this doesn't do the trick then please see your vet as your pet's diet may have to be changed. Dachshunds are known to get allergies and are very sensitive to certain brands of dog food.

It is advised to feed her as much as she needs.

Your dog may need extra calcium while lactating. Please ask a vet about this first, however, as this can differ with each breed. If needed, you can add a little bit of fat-free cottage cheese or other foods high in calcium to her food every day (about 2/3 of a cup per 1 1/2 to 2 cups of food). Rawhide is the skin of animals, usually cattle, that has not been exposed to the tanning process. After the skin has been scraped free of hair and flesh, it is stretched on frames and dried until it is fairly hard. This is the material for rawhide "treats" that are often fed to dogs, although some canines have trouble digesting these items.

It varies from day to day. some days it will be fine and you just have to feed him, but he might get sick and need injections, or get stitches or need his teeth cleaned. it costs at leat $7 per week for food, but depending on whether he is fine and well or not it can sometimes cost alot more.
