When a dog licks another dogs' urine they're using an organ in the roof of their mouth which humans, thankfully, don't possess. This organ does something which is rather strange, the nearest thing I can get in a description is that it allows them to taste scent.. which allows dogs to analyze scent in a way which we cannot even begin to imagine.

We currently have 2 German Shepherds, one of which is a 14-year old male and the other a 6-year old female. We've previously had 2 female Shepherds as well. Only the male Shepherd has licked urine, and not his own, but it's a "habit" he first started ~4 years ago. While most humans view this as "disgusting" behavior, urine itself is sterile and therefore not harmful to the dog.

They can sense who they are.

What do you mean!!! ? lol ---- I personally think if a dog behaves in a certain manor with one person than another it is not the dog it is the person that is giving out a different energy/emotion which can change a dogs behaviour as dogs are very sensitive at understanding humans emotions: For example My dog, Todd when you are outside in the Garden Running around with my younger cousins he will play with them and be generally excited but if one of the children falls over he will stop playing and go up to the children with concern. This goes back to natural instincts as dogs in a pack would look after each other and as they cannot communicate verbally they pick up on each others emotions. So in answer to the question dogs appear to like some people more than others because it is the person themselves who is feeling different. (hope some of that made sense to anybody?? lol) ----

rabbits usually bite things to help trim them trim there teeth but only when there 2 to atleast 6 or 4 weeks old aventually they will stop. Give your rabbit comfort and a wooden chew toy. If it keeps biting u after its atleast 6 weeks flik it on the nose GENTLY!!!!!!!!!!! this will teach it.

usually the biger the dog the less the life span. you must also take into consideration breed specific health problems. there are dogs such as poodles which can live up to 19 years if carfed for properly, the same with shitzu's, while great danes live an average of 7 to 10 years

Theach the dog the comand of relieve of pee or hurry etc. any word to tell them to relievethemself.To do this you will need alot a time.when the dog is doing its bisnes, kepp repeating the comand relieve or what ever it is.You also have to make sure the dog knows the difference between grass and carpeting. Say out side or out make sure the dog is on a leesh and when the dog goes from outy to in or in to out soay out or in. You will need to lead the puppy from out to in and in to out.

Best to avoid terriers like Jack Russells and similar as it is their nature to catch and kill. Most dogs can be trained not to touch chickens if they are brought up that way from the start. A couple of the best breeds to train as they are intelligent are Labrador Retreivers and Border Collies. They may even be taught how to 'herd' the chickens like sheepdogs herd sheep. It will be more difficult if you have an older dog who is introduced to chickens for the first time, you may need professional help.

How do you teach your dog to speak

To teach your dog to speak is a very difficult thing to do, but you may benefit more from teaching your dog to bark on command as this will be easier.

Basically for this you would want to find a way that you can have your dog bark, may it be teasing with a treat or a toy. You can then either use the command "speak" every time your dog barks and reward or use a silent cue such as winking your eye.

A few repeats of this and you shouldn't need the toy or treat to coax your dog into barking any longer.

When your dog attacks someone , poor training or lack of play maybe part. 1.) get a spray bottle, use it every time your animals is preparing to do something you don't want them to do. 2.) if your animal is attacking other animals or people. Its time for a Shock/Training collar. These work great. Sometimes animals cannot be broken of this trait, and have to be euthanized 3.) walk your dog and play with your dog to wear off energy.

usually you don't have to train a dog to be protective it already is, i didn't have to train my dog and it is a great watch dog.

from the age of 5 months I used to play with my little girl (Dua)esp during feed times; I would say 'Where's Dua', 'Where's Dua' and pretend to look everywhere for about half a minute; and then finally look at her and say 'there's Dua' - that I think is what taught her her name. she is now 8+ months and I still do it everyday. Now when she is playing I say 'Dua' and either she answers with a sound (if she is sitting where I can't see her) or turns and looks at me.

To get the dog to sit you have to, whilst it is standing, drag the stylus down the head of the dog, it should sit. You then click on the light bulb above its head and say 'sit'.

If the dog then gets a gold light bulb above its head then it heard (You can drag the golden light bulb to its mouth and it will eat it :D)

If the dog gets question marks above its head then it didn't understand SPEAK CLEARLY.

The dog must understand a couple of times in a row to learn it.

Boxers train really hard. Depends what kind of fighter you are. you can be bad, alright, good, great, or legends like the Mayweather's and Pacquiao's out there. The way you train defines what kind of fighter you will become. Also what type of trainning you do, such as sparring, roadwork, strength and conditioning and manny more tranning tecniques that apply to what type of trainning you do.

Yes you can slide into first base. It has been done in Major contention games where every out counted. I.E. game 5 or 6 or 7 of a world series, division series, or the like. 9th inning. It is not comonly see because it is usually your close or you out when you hit the ball.
