Vicodin contains hydrocodone and Tylenol. Tylenol #3 contains codeine and Tylenol. More than 4000 mg per day of Tylenol can cause liver damage. Mixing codeine and hydrocodone is not particularly dangerous, as long as the patient does not take too much. On the other hand, no doctor would prescribe both at the same time. Therefore, anyone who takes both is taking at least one of them without a doctor's prescription, which is illegal.

Yes, the combination is safe. You can take 600mg ibuprofen up to 4 times daily if needed. Take it with plenty of water and with food in your stomach

If you take vyvanse during the day but need help falling asleep at night, try half of an advil pm. it works for me, and the dr. said it's not harmful.

it will be very hard for you to get of methadone just like that. so if you are planing to get off. ask them to lower your dose. if you get off you will get extremely sick. I have seen my own mother suffer doing that, you know just get of of the methadone.so that is just what you should do.

Can you take xanax with suboxone? You can take anything, that doesn't mean that it is safe and will not harm you. I have personally overcome a pretty good sized addiction problem and was treated using a xanax and suboxone combination. Being an addict I learned early on that it was not the best course of treatment. I will inevitably abuse anything. Suboxone itself will make you sleepy so the combination of xanax just increases these effects. I do not recomment using the two together unless you have serious mental or emotional concerns that warrant this medication. Xanax is very addictive and they do not inform patients that suboxone is as well. Being prescribed suboxone to get off of another opiate is just silly. You will suffer withdrawal symptoms upon the cessation of this medication and are just prolonging the agony of the withdrawal from the original opiate you were addicted to. I know that is seems virtually impossible to stop the opiate without the help of suboxone or xanax but you can trust in the fact that it is the best course of action. Nobody ever said it was going to be easy... it's sincerly not. I can't say that I even stopped without the help of suboxone or xanax but I can tell you that I am no further ahead now than I was when I was abusing opiates. Yes you can but make sure yo are taking the correct dose of both drugs. Celebrex is good while the problem is flaring up, not a good idea to take every day as can cause side effects. Panadol osteo is good for arthritic pain but only 8 hours apart and 3 x a day, not 4 like normal panadol.

Your second drug contains diphenhydramine. This is antihistaminic like promathazine. Together they will give heavy sedation and so promethazine should not be combined with another drug mentioned above.

Yes, this is OK. Remember to take all your antibiotics even after you start feeling better. You want to kill all the bacteria and not leave any hiding in your body! Also remember that Nyquil makes you drowsy, so no driving while taking that one.

Z drugs like ambien should not be taken with a benzodiazepine as it can greatly increase sedation which can lead to side effects as dramatic as death due to upper-respitory failure (being unable to breath).

There is really no need to take the two together, if the ambien you are being prescribed isn't getting you to sleep then consult your phsyician about increasing your dosages.

I was just at the doctor today and he told me to give my one year old daughter (20.4 LBS) Tylenol as needed every 4-6hrs at a dose of 0.8ml and 24hr Zyrtec before bed for the next 5 days at a dose of 2ml/2cc aka 1/2 tsp.

I am also a nurse at a Children's hospital. It is safe as long as you are giving a dose based on the child's weight...not the child's age.

Yes you can. It is nearly impossible to OD on antihistamines unless you really, really go to town on them. Benedryl crosses the blood brain barrier however and that ultimately causes the sedation that Benedryl is most known for. Levoceterizine does not and should be less drowsy (some patients may see drowsiness). Benedryl is going to be more effective in swelling and allergic reactions. Ultimately, the answer is yes you can, but you probably do not need to.

If ordered by you physician...yes.. Synthroid is a thyroid supplement given when you thyroid gland is not producing as it should...it would be the same as a person with a normal functioning thyroid gland taking valium.

I'm going to say no. I get very car sick and took Dramamine for a long time. I started taking Zoloft about two years ago. this past spring break i used the patch version of Dramamine and it made me absolutely worse. I was sweating, shaking, virtually in tears. I called my dr and he told me to take the patch off. When i took it off i could feel the difference immediately. i wasn't shaking, sweating or anything. I still had to sit in the front because of my car sickness, but NO don't take Dramamine if you are taking Zoloft

i keep getting gout want to start my allopurinol to prevent it but should i wait till gout symptoms are gone. also taking colchine a the moment and diclofence.

Yes, most cough medications can be safely taken along with Concerta, though some decongestants (pseudopehedrine, PPA) may add to the stimulant effects and cause nervousness or shakiness.
