Can you drink alcohol and take cyclobenzaprine 600mg together?
I recently injured my lower back and was told by my doctor to take 600 mg of ibuprofen three times a day along with a prescribed 10 mg of cyclobenzaprine. After 4 days of following this routine, my friends invited me to go out for a drink one night. Fearing that drinking alcohol and taking the amount of medication prescribed might cause adverse effects, I called up my pharmacist and ask him if it was possible to have alcohol while taking my meds.
I told him that that morning I had taken 600 mg of ibuprofen and asked whether it was ok to take 10 mg of cyclobenzaprine. He laughed and told me that one night of drinking alcohol was not going to effect me. He also told me that I might get plastered much quicker than I normally would, but it wouldn't hurt me. Basically, he explained that 10 mg of cyclobenzaprine would pretty much double the alcoholic effects of one beer on my system; therefore, he advised that I not over do it, and drink half of what I normally do. Other than that, he said it would be fine and it wouldn't kill me (which I was afraid it might do; I'm a semi-phobic about taking any drugs what so ever).
Just know your limit and try not to binge drink. This drug follows the "too much of a good thing, is a bad thing" rule.

For asthma, patients are often prescribed two types of inhalers. Manufacturers of inhalers have standardized the colors of the plastic holders for inhalers to reduce confusion. The blue inhaler is used for immediate relief; it is often called a rescue inhaler. It is used when you have immediate symptoms. It is not quite a PRN "as needed" medication because, while you can use it for rescue/immediate symptoms, it cannot be used more than the maximum number of times per day that you've been instructed to use it. In fact, if you find yourself needing it more than the number of times prescribed as the maximum per day, your doctor needs to know so he can adjust the dose or timing of your maintenance inhaler. Rescue inhalers should only be used when you truly need it.
The brown inhaler is referred to as a maintenance inhaler. It is used on a regular prescribed basis to reduce symptoms and prevent further attacks. You use the maintenance inhaler whether you feel symptoms or not. It is intended to keep your airways open by reducing inflammation and irritation on a regular basis.

Will taking too much tramadol cause a seizure or a stroke?
The most commonly reported adverse drug reactions are nausea, vomiting and sweating. Drowsiness is reported, although it is less of an issue than for other opioids. Respiratory depression, a common side effect of most opioids, is not clinically significant in normal doses. By itself, it can decrease the seizure threshold. When combined with SSRIs, tricyclic antidepressants, or in patients with epilepsy, the seizure threshold is further decreased. Seizures have been reported in humans receiving excessive single oral doses (700 mg) or large intravenous doses (300 mg). An Australian study found that of 97 confirmed new-onset seizures, eight were associated with Tramadol, and that in the authors' First Seizure Clinic, "Tramadol is the most frequently suspected cause of provoked seizures" (Labate 2005). Dosages of coumadin/warfarin may need to be reduced for anticoagulated patients to avoid bleeding complications.

How do you overcome hydrocodone addiction?
deal with codein addiction
i been using codein for 11 years to get high. during that time i stop several times. first time i only took 30ml, but now increased to 150ml perday. what can i say to anyone who wants to stop is that u must reduce the dose day by day. from my experience i give myself a week to reduce and a week to deal with the major craving. by that time your body can be considered OK. no more back pain, sleepiness and tiredness. please dont forget to drink plenty of plain warm water to help your body to get rid of the codein toxic. you must do some stretching at night time before u sleep. focus more to the lower side of your body and also your back. this is to reduce body sore. the next step is the hardest. i call it the 'i miss u codein' the feel to get high. for me ths will take at least a month to deal with. hope that this can help you.

What will happen if you take more than prescribed of adderall XR?
depending on how much they are perscribed, how accostomed to the drug they are, and how much was taken, if it is less than 120 mg and they are used to the effects of amphetamenes ur child will just spend the next 12 howers tweeking, and the next day recovering from the dopamene being relesed, if more dont pass go, go straight to emergancy room .... that said if its a high dose but not phisicly harmfull its a good idea to moniter him/her and make sure he/she dosent start exibiting profuse sweating or convoltions if the dose was more than 100 mg. evryones body reacts diffrently but genraly the lethal dose of adderal xr is around 145-180 mg for the avrege person depending on weight and aclaminity to the drug. in my younger days i was prescibed concerta wich is the same drug diffrent company and while im not proud of it i did abuse it quite a bit, the thing i would watch is, now that your child knows what this medication can do, moniter the meds closely to make sure it dose not start ( getting droped down the drain) or dissapering abnormaly fast because it can be highly highly addictive when used in doses greater than prescribed...... as one parent to another i hope this helps and i hope your kid is ok

Not likely. While breathing concrete dust and soot is not good for you, harmful effects generally would come from prolonged exposure over a period of months of breathing high dust levels. Next time, visit the hardware store for a disposable respirator and a small spray bottle. Use a mist of clean water to hold down the dust, and the respirator to keep from breathing it. While we can't make a medical diagnosis, your symptoms sound more like the flu. Go see a doctor.
