Some agarwals use variations of agarwal like sabharwal etc. Some other names are modi,rai,chaudhry.but these three names are also used by other communities. For examle aishwariya rai is a tulu but lala lajpat rai was agarwal. Lalit modi is agarwal but narendra modi is not. Some agarwals have also used kumar in bihar and bengal. By the way sen-gupta and das-gupta are bengalis and not agarwal.
