What is the posal code for Dublin?

Ireland does not have postal codes. Dublin is divided into postal districst, numbered from 1 to 24, and outside of those the rest of Dublin would be referred to as "County Dublin" for postal purposes. So it will depend on where exactly you are posting to as to which postal district you use. On an internet form, just use IE if asked for a postal code.

How many people fit in the Royal Dublin Society?

That is not a simple question to answer. The RDS, as it is known, has many different venues within its grounds for all sorts of different types of events, both indoors and outdoors. There can often be a number of different events going on in different parts of the complex at the same time. Some events involve exhibitions taking up more space that others, so the amount of people could attend would be different. There are concerts and other entertainment events there. There are sports events. There are conferences. Because there are so many different events and different places for those events, it is not really possible to give an answer. It is really on an event by event basis, and where in the complex the event is being held.

How can you get from Rome to Dublin by train or boat?

Use a travel agent.

It's possible to do, sort of, but it's not necessarily easy and there are a number of transfers involved. The basic plan is to go from Rome to Liverpool by rail, then take a ferry from the Liverpool suburb of Bootle to Dublin. However, getting from Rome to Liverpool will have you on at least four different rail systems (add two more - Thameslink and the Underground - if you don't want to walk a half-mile or so in London); you'll need to get on yet another rail system (or a series of busses) to get to Bootle, and then you'll have to walk to the ferry dock.

For a comparable journey in the US, you'd be far better off flying ... it wouldn't be much if any more expensive and you'd get there faster. My understanding is that rail travel in Europe is a much more viable option than it is in the US, but I still wouldn't absolutely rule out just hopping on a plane.
