What date is Easter?

To determine the date of Easter for the years 1900 through 2199, divide the year by 19, disregard the whole number, and find the remainder on the left side of the list below. The date of Easter for that year is the first Sunday after the date shown next to the number.

Example: 2012 ÷ 19 = 105 17/19. Disregard the whole number, 105, and find the remainder, 17, on the left side of the list below. Next to 17 below, it says April 7, so in 2012, Easter is the first Sunday after April 7, which is April 8.

Easter is the first Sunday after...

0: April 14

1: April 3

2: March 23

3: April 11

Why do we have the Easter bunny?

The Catholic Encyclopedia: "A great many pagan customs, celebrating the return of spring, gravitated to Easter. The egg is the emblem of the germinating life of early spring. . . . The rabbit is a pagan symbol and has always been an emblem of fertility."-(1913), Vol. V, p. 227.

Why do we have the Easter Bunny?

The American Book of Days: "There is no doubt that the Church in its early days adopted the old pagan customs and gave a Christian meaning to them. As the festival of Eostre was in celebration of the renewal of life in the spring it was easy to make it a celebration of the resurrection from the dead of Jesus, whose gospel they preached."

Therefore it was NOT Jehovah God; but it was 'The Church' which adoped the pagan bunny symbol, and conveniently gave it a Bible meaning; in order to appease and intigrate pagans into an adulterated form of Christianity. The early disciples did not view the Easter bunny as an approved symbol for Christianity.
