I prefer vaping

I've been vaping on VaporShark for over a month. Last night when I unscrewed the battery stem to refill the glass tank, a piece of the ignitor broke off. Luckily my kit came with an extra ignitor. I wonder if this one will also break in a month or two?

Even without nicotine, they still contain other chemicals. There has not been a lot of research on "vaping" and they are starting to realize that it might be more harmful than they first realized. Even if they are not addictive, they can be habit forming. Straight edge or not, why intentionally start a habit that you don't already have?

Federal rules say the minimum age to use any 'nicotine delivery device' is 18. Utah has left this law in place meaning that because of the nicotine you must be 18 to purchase or possess the device.

Almost all flavors like, chocolate, fruit, tobacco, menthol etc. are available in e liquid.

No, the fluid used in the electronic cigarette is not safe from freezing (mostly water).

Note: an "E-Hooka" is a colloquial term used to describe "high end" or "mod" type electronic cigarettes (Vamo, ZMax, Lava-tube, etc.)

What kind of trouble? Legal trouble? Health trouble? Parental trouble? Delinquency? It is illegal to buy smoking/tobacco products (including nicotine-free e-cigs) if you are under 18, but laws have never stopped teenagers from buying cigarettes, and anyway, it's the retailer who gets in trouble for selling them, not the kids who buy them.

A non-nicotine e-cig is not going to cause any health problems, as there is no smoke, or even nicotine. Parents might not like it, but I would think any reasonable parent would at least be glad that their child is using non-nicotine e-cigs, instead of smoking actual cigarettes that are addictive and harmful. Just like how any reasonable parent might be horrified to find condoms in their teenager's bedroom, but would at least be glad the kid has enough sense to use protection.

And no one has ever been able to show that smoking causes delinquency. It's true that so-called "delinquent" teens are more likely to smoke, but it's counter-intuitive to assume that the cigarettes CAUSE them to be delinquent. Tobacco is not a magic drug that makes teens rebellious; hormones do that. Rather, the fact that they are delinquent causes them to smoke.

When you decide you want to be a "bad" kid, a rebellious teen, the most common ways to do that are to go out and start smoking, drinking, using recreational drugs, and having sex. Doesn't mean these things CAUSE delinquency; it's just that so-called "delinquent" teens are more likely to be attracted to these behaviors.

If the kid is already a smoker, then it's probably a good way to get them to stop smoking, or at least to cut down.

Well, It will all depend on the company, but as a user, I know the brand that I use, only uses 100% VG, water and flavoring. I try to use the most organic e-Liquids available.

Studies show that vapor pens are safer than tobacco cigarettes, but it may take years and a lot more studies to show how safe or unsafe they actually are.

Comparing the two is like comparing two shirts of the same type, but a different color.

These style systems are considered "bargain systems," they are very cheap and normally sold in corner stores. Some have reported sucess in using them to stop smoking, but that number is very small.

I personally tried one of these types of systems for a few hours and threw it away because its function is very limited. I tried a mid cost system and was able to quit smoking, and have since bought two high end systems (one for backup).

"Vaping" is treated the same as smoking traditional cigarettes. In the State of Washington, it is illegal to smoke (vape) under the age of 18.

If you are vaping as a minor, you are in violation of the law.

A "Tobacco" cigarette is a sampled measure of nicotine; I think they test 1 out of every 10,000 for nicotine level. E-Cig's use a very specific volume of medical grade nicotine.

Everyone will have their own opinion on this one. I say the 808 because:

1. It is refillable-you can get 30ml refill liquid for $15-$20 (that is enough to last a pack a day smoker almost a MONTH!

2. Starter kits are cheap (I paid $37 for mine from Epic-Vapor)

3. Replacement parts and accessories are also inexpensive.

The cool part about vaping any of your favorite sweet eJuice is that there is NO calories! So, don't worry, you can vape all you want because there are none.

It is completely healthy for you. You still get the nicotine and the flavor, but there is no tobacco,tar,carcinogens or any of that crap.

No it is not. Nicotine causes restrictions in the capillaries of the body and has been determined by the state of California to cause birth defects.

e cigs and vaping is too new to know about any bad side effects that might occur from them later in life. Better to be safe than sorry. Avoid smoking anything and everything.

These fluids come in different strengths, from 0mg to 24mg (some manufacturers have higher percentages but they are rarely used; 24mg is very strong and only used by people that were very heavy smokers). All of these fluids have the mg or percentages on the side of the label.

It depends on how long before surgery you smoke an e-cig. No matter when you smoke your last pre-surgery electronic cigarette, it is overwhelmingly safer than smoking a tobacco cigarette! You need to ask your anesthesiologist this question. My guess, as someone who has had a lot of surgeries in the last few years and a smoker of e-cigs, is: the day before. Most often it seems that you check into the hospital long before your surgery and then you're kept so busy that you aren't able to smoke anyway.
