You only get one a day. And that's only if you fire it. you cannot stack or save them up each day. There is a glitch however where you get multiple C-finders and put them all in a trunk. take one out and you should get a ammo for that. put it back in then take a different one out and you will have more ammo.
Basically it is a fallout but with high dangers of volcano activity EVERWHERE just like bombing with radiation and have to go to fine material that is volcanic proof to live
