Culling, is a word meaning to remove certain undesirable animals from an ecosystem in order to acquire a more healthy population. This can be practiced while managing a pond or personal body of water. However, culling is most often used in fishing when referring to tournament fishing. In a tournament where you can only weigh five fish, you would keep your first five keepers, than "cull" (remove them from your livewell) the smaller ones as you catch bigger ones to replace them.

Is it illegal to carry a fishing rod on a motorcycle?
No it isn't ( although make sure in your country's law of the road book!) as long as when you are actually fishing you have your fishing licence with you and that where you are fishing you are aloud to fish!
Make sure when you put it in your car it is put in safely so the hook cant hurt anyone or catch on anything important. Also make sure that if you put the fishing rod in the back of you car there is no one sitting there as if the police pull you over and there are people in the back with a fishing rod on there laps it wont end well for you or the people holding it!

Short answer: masts, spars, booms, sprits, yards, or gaffs (all different)
Long answer:
>Spar is just the nautical equivalent of "pole", ie masts, booms yards etc are all spars
>Masts are the vertical ones
>Booms are the ones on the bottom edge of a sail
>Sprits are typically either at the front or back (bow or stern respectively) and are angled slightly up from the horizontal, these are called, simply enough, the bowsprit and sternsprit (note that the sternsprit is a very uncommon spar)
>Yards are like booms, but they are found at the top edge of square sails
>Gaffs are similar to yards, but they are found on "fore and aft" sails (ie not square sails) again at the top edge of the sail. Typically larger ships like schooners (see Bluenose II as an example) will have what's called a "gaff rigged main" sail, which if you look at the picture here: [http://www.schoonerbluenose2.ca/include/images/jpgs/hinesAboutB2_300x206.jpg] is the one at the far right. Saying that it is gaff rigged just means that it is a quadrangle shape instead of triangle, and as such, it has a gaff to hold the top taut.
Hope that helps!
Amberjack are often caught with lures or live bait, trolling or drifting. A very good gamefish, flesh often wormy and not good to eat.
Are fish more attracted to real bait or lures?
I would have to say real/live bait.
There's nothing like the real thing.
