Linoleum Care
Both Marmoleum and Armstrong are major producers of this 140-year-old technology.
Linseed oil & wood flour or cork dust and a few other secret ingredients.
Linoleum does require some care & maintenance, it definitely is NO a lay it & forget it floor. It is somewhat "Green" in the environmental sense & can give a very long life if cared for & properly installed.
I suggest you go to your makers website & get their specific instructions, if you have not chosen yet, go to Marmoleum or Armstrong & they both have a nice section on Care & Maintenance.

pourous tiles (more like short sections of pipe than flat tiles) laid continously in a trench below ground level to form a pipeline to a drain point at a lower level but above the water table.
Ground water/ Snow melt/ Rain would normally slowly percolate through the soil & dissipate or stand on the surface, till it evaporates.
Drainage tile allows the water in saturated soil to find an open pipe to follow to a lower drainage point such as a sump or a waterway.
Tiles allow the fields to dry faster, roots of plants to breath better and produce more crops on cropland or other areas such as yards or industrial land to dry faster for better & safer useage
How many 18inch tiles covers 425 sq ft?
You may want to use a calculator.
18 in x 18 in =? square inches
There are 144 square inches in a square foot.
Divide the square inches in one tile by 144. That should equal about 2.25 square feet per tile.
425 divided by the square feet in one tile -- that would give you the number of tiles. It would take about 189 tiles.

How many tile that are 18 inches x 18 inches to cover 163 sq ft?
How do I figure a room for 18X18 tiles?
The concept is confusing but the math is pretty simple...
Soooo once you know the sq feet you need, add a little for waste & breakage & ooops cuts & you will have enough..
The fact that a good tile setter starts in the middle of the room & works out also means you may have a fair bit of cutting one all the walls but a centered look is much better and likely allows you to use the pieces up.
