What is the best safest way to clean carpet on OSB flooring?

The "safest" way to clean carpet is with a dry cleaning product like Capture. You can find it in most home improvement stores. You spray a light mist of pre-cleaner solution on the carpet and then sprinkle a powder. After lightly brushing the powder into the carpet with the brush included in the kit. Let it sit for 30 minutes and vacuum up. If you are looking to have it professionally cleaned, look for someone who uses a carbonated process It leaves less water on the floor. The rental machines you find at the grocery and the home improvement store should be avoided. They leave far to much water on the carpet and will cause your carpet to break down quicker.

No. Amtico is an engineered luxury vinyl tile (LVT tile). Laminate is a veneered product. It will have possibly an MDF back with a picture of wood on the surface.

An LVT will perform much better and allows you to be more creative.

Amtico or Karndean are the two leading manufacturers. I am in the flooring industry and specialise in Karndean.

Why does marble flooring feel cold to touch?

Marble floors may feel cold, but they are actually the same temperature as the air around them. They FEEL colder because stone is more conducive to temperature than air. What that means is that skin in contact with air dissipates heat into the air more slowly than skin in contact with marble. The stone is absorbs the heat at a much greater rate than the air, making your skin feel cold, thus the stone feeling cold to the touch.

You have 20 feet wide and 20 feet long floors you are trying to buy carpet for how much carpet should you buy?

Carpet comes in 2 widths 12' and 15'

so if you go with 12' carpet

then you need 2 pieces...to get it to the look the best with one seam I would get 2 20' pieces.

15' carpet I would order a 20' piece and another 6 foot piece ...that's given that the room is 20' exactly because you need to order extra 3 inches on each wall..

If there is baseboard heat against the walls you want to order enough extra carpet to wrap up and under for the best look. hope this helps
